1. Bump, very open to offers as I have an impending purchase
2. Final price drop after this its going in a Matamp headcase and becoming a display piece £625
3. The Levy's one I'm selling will do this. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=106765 Alternatively the Warwick cases have huge pockets but I don't think they are well enough padded or rigid enough. I have the Premium Thunderbird one and if it wasn't for the fact its huge and swamps my bass I wouldn't be happy with the protection it gives but that said, they do have very very large front pockets
4. I have 3 X2 systems, I could sell a receiver if the price was right, and by that I mean right for me and horrible for you
5. No longer using this now I have my Fodera Double bag * Leather trim throughout. * Heavy duty denier shell with full-length zip so the bag can be opened flat. * 1" foam padding throughout with internal headtsock and bridge protectors. * Large buckle saddle bag type pouch on the front. * Strap hook so you can hang it up! * Dual back-pack straps. After what I paid for it which is £75 posted, good condition, no tears or any form of damage. Collection available in Stockport.
6. My 400w all tube mesa boogie strategy that will be the most insane loud awesome sound you've ever heard and I'll let it go fairly cheap now
7. Mint condition, only used at home. Comes with the amp stand that goes under the top handle on your amp so you can see the Pod. Selling because I use a small tube amp at home and am going to get Irig for on the road. £100ono I will include a USB lead as well to hook it up to your computer. Also the power supply has had a new plug fitted to the end, just an FYI but in no means a problem.
8. I'll lend you my 185/E2
9.
Any chance of a courier quote and pics if possible please? I'm interested, but I'm down in Devon so Manchester's a bit of a stretch!
I'm in Manchester and going down to Devon on the 29th till the 31st I wouldn't mind helping you out if you wanted it. Cheers
10. Have you ordered yet? What custom options did you go for?
11. Also going back through this thread, I played the Red JP pictured but all the other basses were very different from what was shown here.
12. I wanted to bump this thread because I got to play these yesterday at Bass Day. Well I actually got to play the PJ Jazz bass and man with the pricing point these things are incredible, the fit and finish is great, it was red with a light sparkle and matching headstock which is always a winner for me. I actually didn't try the others, as I didn't try out other Overwater basses as I've just bought my 4th and thought I can't afford another so I stayed away and i actually thought for most of the day that some of the Aspiration series were Perceptions because the finish was so good. Once they were pointed out to me I could see the difference in the body shape, but they are seriously nice looking basses. I am most certainly picking up the PJ bass up when they are released as they are easily as good as any jap fender I've played. The other aspirations I may very well pickup a 6 string or something in a fretless depending on how I feel but I was so surprised when I played them they do not feel or sound like their price bracket.
13. Yea I can do that I'll get a shipping quote tomorrow for you. Cheers
14. Mention my name and that you found them via basschat and they'll be far more willing to cut you a deal and discount
15.
i went to that stand to look at the green matamp, i got a wierd look, didnt know if it was because someone recognized me from my avatar (i made it to resemble me) or whether you were worried i was gonna steal something
There is never a concern that someone is going to "Run Off" with a Matamp
16. Oh as someone whose 6ft 1 did anyone else except me feel really short at this years event?
17. I'm just glad I got to hang out with Dave Swift, got my new Overwater bass and had a good chat with various Basschatters and bass playing friends from around town. It was quieter this year both, people and volume but at the same time I've found it's a very bad time to be selling equipment both on the forum and ebay so I didn't hold out much luck at Bassday. I again didn't catch any of the seminars as I was bassed out by about 1pm but stayed all the way through and had a good chat with Billy Sheehan as well. Overall a good day not sure I'll go again next year, but as stated it such a good opportunity to hang out with some great people I know and respect.
18. Bump, great to mee everyone who came to Bass Day to try it out. This offer has now expired and the cabs are now £650 I'll be getting mine in about 2 weeks, bring on the 18x10
19.
Ok, It's been doing my head in lying on its side like that. Here it is the right way up
20.
Forget all this "does it come in 4-Ohm" nonsense ... does it come in a 20Kg version?
No nor do they come in pink
21. FYI these are really collection only but I'm going to Devon on the 29th if anyone wants to meet near Bristol to get one off me, I've already got one on order like this. Cheers
22. Or get 2 8ohm 6x10s to run with your 2x15 ;p
23.
I am aware of that, but I wouldnt be able to run the Barefaced at the same time!
Whats the impedance of the barefaced 4? You could get the 8 ohm version an be fine running it on the 2ohm tap at 2.67 ohms I did it with my mesa for ages
24. SVT does 2 ohms, get the 2 ohm version
