I received this today from Bongo after I had it sent to him for his OS Clone shootout. It has the usual modern touches like TBP footswitch and nice components, but the paint job on the box is a bit sloppy.[/quote] PLEASE NOTE: This review is pre be[Myleen Klass] mod that Bongo has performed on this comp. Now firstly I have also owned the older Tone Factor Squeeze Factor that was made by Pedalworx and I have also owned the Pedalworx McSqueeze, which are effectively the same circuit with the t[licking an posterior opening] pot being a proper [kitchen hob] on the Squeeze Factor. So i have had brief experiences with OS Clones that to be honest have left me m[Myleen Klass]ively unimpressed, the clip out and [horse and cart] out etc and are generally unusable but not this baby, this is a fantastic compressor, very clear and natural and when you crank it you get a nice squish and a very vintage tone as you will hear in a moment. The pedal is excellently build as you expect from Tone Factor and any other Boutique builder to be honest, but I couldn't see the messy paint job Bongo referred to. So I've uploaded some pics of it so you can judge for yourselves don't know if the flash is in the way though. So I wouldn't even compare this to the OS Clone I've had before, this is a full on proper be[Myleen Klass] compressor and not just used for an effected sound as most OS Clones are, I'd put it in a similar class as the Demeter and EBS while still retaining some of the roundness a vintage type compressor will always have. In the sound clips I have the compression [kitchen hob] at 3 o clock to get that more OS'y clone sound This is my 60's Classic MIM Fender Jazz with Overwater flats, neck pup and tone rolled off, the comp comes in after the first few bars. He has been very helpful to me answering all my questions on any EA gear I couldn't get my hands on and was thinking of buying. From the pictures I've seen I think he gigs quite often, more than alot of people on this forum and some of them are quite big, few outdoor festivals and such. I don't think it's fair that anyone judge him for having lots of nice gear, if you can why not.

Option 3 seems like the best option. Option 2 means you have to turn 2 pedals on to get your fuzz sound. But I still want Option 1

Ok, so I have schematic being drawn up and I have a manufacturer for it so I just want to do some market research. So here are the options for the pedal/s The smallest box available [url="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/230/511937211_66b19c596d.jpg"]here[/url] in this size with no led or footswitch, won't take a battery will have input, output, power in and a knob to control the impedance, it will be this small and won't have a switch or an led as it will always be on and be the sort of thing that takes up little or no board space or fits under a pedaltrain type board. Same box as above with an led and a footswitch so you can turn the impedance buffer off and make your fuzz sound gated and crap again again. Single TB type loop in the standard MXR sized Hammond enclosure with led, to show when the loop is activated, footswitch to turn the loop on and therefore the buffer and you just have your fuzz inside the buffered loop. this case would be able to take a battery. Personally I lean towards the first one, buffers don't really affect other effects so why not leave it on. But yeah so I want to know who would be interested in buying one and what model they would want. Else it will be another custom jobby for me and exactly what I want and no one else will be able to get one so please speak up if you are interested. Cheers

There just isn't any one that makes an impedance buffer as a standalone box........ yet but I'm working on that.
