1. Selling because I'll never get the issue resolved as I'm lazy. It's either the pot needs to be replaced or the string just needs some tweaking. Basically has a bit of a stiff action and doesn't do 100% volume cut, I know you can get the pot kits for like 15-25 quid so looking for £35 for this. Other than this issue it's in great condition, velcro on the bottom, few scratches on the side I think. Cheers
2. I'd be interested in the board if you decide to split
3. Another item I got off Mr Foxen last week. This amp is stunning really really enjoy it but it's the most expensive vintage amp I own and I don't forsee me gigging with it, well at least not for the next 6 weeks so before I get attached to it I'm going to try and move it on. Original Sale thread is here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=72959 Again am all over the country on tour soon so can meet up somewhere, please check tour dates www.myspace.com/ourinnocencelost This amp is hella loud and has no hum or hiss until absolutely cranked, I was worried about what Mr Foxen said was in it that I would have to get a revalve straight away but it works perfectly and doesn't have a single issue. Cheers EDIT I'm withdrawing this, you can expect to see it on ebay tonight
4. Got this last week off Mr Foxen, liked it so much that I tried to sell some of my other far more expensive basses. Unfortunately no one seems to be buying anything so I'll just do the old last in first out before I get attached to it and have like 12 basses. I can ship but at buyers expense, but please check out my myspace as i'm on tour for the next 6 weeks so am all over the country if you want to meet up and get the bass. www.myspace.com/ourinnocencelost check the tour dates. EDIT I'm withdrawing this, you can expect to see it on ebay tonight
5. Last bump before i change what I'm selling. Cheers
That was the Sadowsky M5-24 through an Avalon U5, into Logic.
You'll never get that tone again
7. I would take that Fender + cash for my Overwater Evolution 5 if you are interested
8. If they do the original body shape I'll be all over one as a backup, else. Meh
9. or 450 in a world where people can do maths
10. Bump, perfect for anyone in a Dave Gilmour tribute
11. Man all those prices are insanely cheap like insane. The Boomstick Bottom Feeder is my favourite filter, it's been replaced by the Mojo Hand 442 red but they are the same pedal just different cosmetics. 12. Yeah me and Joe can have a volume war though he'll win now I only have 1 strategy I'll let you know Joe if I don't use it
13. Sorry guys I got in there first
14. Mine was a joke about the 2 HBP-1's you seem to be selling
15. Which one is better
16. OBBM all the way I just replaced allmy George L's with them
17.
A very underrated or unknown company is ElectroniX Just wish they had made more of an effort with the sound clips Really impressed with what I heard tho sound wise.
I heard they have stopped building pedals
18.
Bassdirect has a sunburst one in for £2299. I sent a couple of hours playing a white one through my Boogie a couple of months back and couldn't believe how good it was. It's easily one of the best instruments I've played and definitely the best bolt-on bass. Better (for me) than any Sadowsky, Nordy or US Lakland I've tried.
Yeah no they are very good for sure, I think what did it for me was the neck I'd have prefered a heavy gloss on the back to go with the vibe I got from the rest of the instrument, but you know at this much money you have to get awful picky
19. Forgot to say I have the original tuner if you want to remove the Hipshot they are direct replacements for each other so no marks or screw holes will be exposed.
20.
The bridge, the stringing system, the pickups, the tuners, the woods, the inlays, the construction, the frets, the electrical components, the body shape (loads of difference - really), the ageing process, the vibration treatment, the nut, the fact that it's handmade in a small workshop in Japan in very small numbers, pretty much everything, really.
How much did you end up paying in the end, I tried one at Bassday in the morning before the slap fest started and it was nice but not the price tag nice. Defo better than a US fender
21.
It's a Thunder 1A, active, needing 2 x 9v batteries which may well need replacing. Use decent alkaline's and remember to switch out the active circuit when not needed (lower of the two switches) and they last for ages. Check out this web page (and the rest of the website) for much more info: http://www.westone.info/manual1/index.html
So am I right in thinking there is no mute switch and that would be that the preamp needs new batteries?
22.

I got this the other day, can anyone help me with the controls, one of the switches is working like a killswitch, I think I found the bass knob but it's all quite subtle, maybe the batteries need changing. Cheers
