  1. That’s amazing congrats. I always thought he was a genuine person and one of the times I saw him perform it was the day after his mother died, and he still did the most wonderful heart felt Gig - he is a true great
  2. Genzler Magellan 800 Darkglass M900 V1 More suggestions will come I am sure
  3. And you dear chap
  4. I think i edged it - you are a polite man in letting ladies first
  5. I know we are past xmas but i am sure its Copper, Frankincense and Silverrrrrrrrrrrrr
  6. That’s why we make a good couple
  7. Nighthawks are great bases - i would say one of each - but if you had to get only 1 - Copper
  8. Saw him live with this twice actually - its phenomenal
  9. Trapeze can do little wrong, Glenn (bass and vocals wise) can do no wrong at all
  10. That corresponds to a 3-10-0 - happily corrected, I ran my treble at about 2/3 - but that’s just me
  11. No disagreement there from me - but I got my LH1000 for about £150 second hand with a rackmount case, and I could tickle a little out the EQ for me - bargain overall
  12. We posted at the same time - but I see that now and makes sense
  13. Cheers chaps and chapess - good looking machines them - the NS is my fave with the bevelled curved to it
  14. That’s great - I would love that headstock on a non EUB - would be a sleek machine
  15. I really like that - what does the whole bass look like please?
  16. If you are using a decent preamp infront of it then it will project it well enough - that’s mainly how I used it
  17. Great amps, good decision. I thought flat was 2-10-2 though.........
  18. They wrote it wrong on the packet as well???!!
  19. Sorry if it’s me sounding dumb, but it’s defo active? has a battery compartment and premp on its innards etc?
  20. Bit harsh, they do limited runs of stuff (sandblasted for example), but I sort of know what you mean. You need a bit of patience to tease out the goodness of the fidelitron pick up, it’s a bit low output, but you have the option of upgrading to a TV Jones Filtertron, probably a lollar or T bird type pick up and do any routing you fancy. Its well made and that neck despite being on the wide side at the nut has a shallow profile and is very playable
  21. I like the Cab but I agree with the others!
  22. Demeter Minnie 800D But - if you are taking your own cab then having that lift you may as well have a small amp of your choice and sufficient power should you not? Or it can be plopped on the backline cab. How much pedal tap dancing do you do? If it’s set and forget pop everything in a wheeled rackmount case like Gator do for ease of transport and then mostly any amp is useable, even something like a QSC power amp. Thays a 1 drag/carry solution
  23. It’s normally a push pull knob on the volume one
  24. I sense apocalyptic levels of sound being reported
  25. I know what you mean - hear enough isolated tracks you start to get a feel of what stuff will sound like once stripped back
