Agreed I wanted Basstheworld to do a comparison between a pedal they had already done which was similar to a different makers one. I contacted them and said, this would be a fun review, I like the way your review and things. He wrote back saying we are maybe working with the manufacturer in tying to review this other pedal. I offered to post mine over for them to do a comparison - flat out refusal as the manufacturer of the one I was going to send wasn’t paying them, and they said that. They were up front, but in the same breath, you have to trust your own ears and educate yourself on somethings capabilities, most of these reviews can not be objective, which is a shame.

Kicking genuine Bi amping into touch, aside from old Gibson and some Marshall (I think) guitar cabs that combined 10s and 12s for a swirling, vibra phase shift effect - are there any Bass Can manufacturers popping a 10” and a 12” in the same cab?

OK To get a decent sound, you have to know your environment, use your ears, or someone else’s if yours are rubbish, and tweak dependent on this and not numbers. To get some form of signature or endorsing deal, you have to be bloody good, and if you want there is no harm in taking what is offered, it puts dinner on the table. Markbass look like pavement pizza after a night of jäger bombs, absinth and a dodgy kebab. (Disclaimer - I think I am beautiful but have a face for radio, even my mum said that)

Not a DG hater, used their stuff, not quite for me. @Tech21NYC DP3X - half the price, and a tuner, can be just as evil, has a crossover distortion, yes on the face of it less tweakable, but controls still very useable, although there may be slightly less mid presence. Tiny foot print

Mebbe - but by his own admissions(Doug) the Helix does a damn good job on the B7k model, you can do cross over, I am sure Fractal will come good etc. At that money helix or others may be a better shout....
