1.
hmm its a cliche but i guess its worth what someone wants to pay, and the leftys are very rare
Fair enough. I just couldn't see myself paying that much (I wouldn't pay the ridiculous amounts for old fenders as well, though).
 2. Dan bought a bass from me. Simple negotiation, paid very quickly and was very patient, even when the courier took exactly a week to collect the parcel (even though collections were booked for each successive day - bloody UPS!). Definitely recommended!
 3.
Interparcel/UPS threw me a curve ball today. I booked a collection slot for 14:00-17:30. They showed up at my address at 11 and called me to let me know they were close by. I told the (what I presume was) the UPS lady that the driver couldn't pick it up at 11. She was nice about it, claimed the driver would be back at 14:00 and I was stuck at home for the whole afternoon for no-one to have showed up. As you might imagine, I'm a bit upset about the whole thing. I'll call them tomorrow to figure out exactly why they failed to show up or at least communicate again, and report back then.
Well, I called them and, after being basically robbed because of the charges to 0871 no. from mobile carriers, I found out it was my fault. Apparently, I should have known better, since the collection times are "a request", but basically make no difference as to the pickup time. So, basically, either you're available throughout the day or you risk all this unpleasantness, because the driver will get there when he gets there.
 4. bump no interest or do you think the price is too high?

 6.
I still buy CDs.
So do I. But I've enjoyed spotify a lot lately. In fact, I've bought about a dozen CDs because of spotify. Which is why I am on the fence on whether to pay the monthly subscription or not.
 7. I think he might want to know where steve gd's based, but I'm not sure...
 8. LawrenceH - you might have been on to something, but the fact is the "average" characteristics cannot really be defined. You have variation in species of maple/rosewood, the area where they were grown, the age of the tree, how long it dried for, the type of cut, and these are just a few of the top of my head. Not only that, but you'd also have a really hard time defining (and validating!) the parameters of analysis and eliminating every other potentially interfering variable. Yes, I know, I'm nitpicky, I'm sorry. It just comes with the territory.

 10.
Just spotted that too, a beaut.
Very much so. If I could justify it, I'd definitely be bidding on it.
 11. A "77 Aria Pro II". Looks good, too.
 12. Another one of us! I landed a few hundred miles north of London, though. Bem-vindo, pa!
 13.
Even if it ever was a "Morris" the fakey refin, cheap stickers & crap new Chinese parts utterly destroy any collectability (and associated value, if any) it might have had. The fact the useless, ham-fisted idiot was too lazy to even re-align the bridge would strongly suggest to me that the rest of the "work" will be a similar cack-handed, half-arsed bodge - which he actually gives away in his description, if you read it & think about what he's saying! J.
Upon closer inspection it seems clear you are (as always) right on the money. It's gone too, so we'll never know how much it'd reach.
 14.
Loving the look. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
That looks sweet. I was considering to place a bid, but I'm not sure as to its authenticity or if it's supposed to be decent. Can any of the resident experts pitch in?
 15.
thanks, im watching a few on ebay to see how they turn out, why is the market so bad for second hand warwicks then? is it worth hanging on for a while longer or will it continue losing value?
Well, it's been bad for a while now, but it might pick up if they become trendy again. I wouldn't bet on it, though. At least not for a bit.
 16.
I must say I am quite chuffed with the neck. I had Pete make a radius sanding block for it but I did give up on it most of the time and just did it by eye lol. If I could find my 1/4" to 3.5mm jack adaptor I would record the thing. Im trying not to play it too much since the vanish isnt 100% hard yet but Im having a mwah fest lol!! A
I'm guessing you played around with the fretboard, but did you also shave the neck? Great work, btw. This is what they should show on extreme makeover.
 17.
It's actually 60GB but 40GB is uploads. It's $10 per 5GB per month above standard, not great value and we're not looking at moving hosts for disk space alone. I think introducing a mentality of not uploading multiple 5MB images is the first step and if that's still not enough then we can upgrade.
OK, so not as bad. Still not excellent, though, since I assume you've got a VPS. Anyway, regardless of disk space it is a good move to restrict image and audio size. I'm not familiar with IPBoards, but can't you set a size limit?
 18.
I've now dropped maximum upload space per user from 100MB to 75MB and no more than 20MB of attachments per post. Just found one post with 10 x 5-6MB images, no need !
Sure, that's a wise move if you have limited space. Still, I'll echo Buzz's comment. Unless you're getting a bargain price for hosting, 40GB is actually quite little space.
 19.
Which he is.
And is something inherently wrong with that? The price is way too high (for a few quid more you can just buy a new one), though.
 20.
no, its for sale as a copy, no brand told cant see it going anywhere since ppl here arent fans of copies
Out of curiosity, do you have any idea how much it is going for?

 22.
Could be interested in buying your Pod if that helps?
Thanks, but since 2nd hand pod x3 still are somewhat difficult to come by I'm looking for a trade. However, if I manage to get my hands on a cheap one I'll let you know.
 23. SOLD. Hi folks, Looking to move my Line6 bass pod XT and the FBV shortboard. As one might expect, I'm pretty happy with the XT, but I'm moving soon and I'm basically getting rid of everything. Moving with lots of stuff is not a pleasant experience. So, as for prices, how does £120 for both sound? Or I might sell them separately - say £60 for the POD XT and £70 for the FBV? Does this tickle anyone's fancy?
