A couple??? Are you a retailer??

Octaver first, then the gated fuzz. filter last. this is the most conventional way to produce the sounds your after. some octavers will allow you to run fuzz first, but most wont as they need a pure tone to track well. You might get better response if you post over in the effects forum. There is a recent synth bass FX thread where we discuss this sorta stuff...

Thats great, congrats! Welcome to the world of loop switching!!!

The joyo is a great place to start. I used one for about a year before upgrading to the es8 The joyo is a bit of a monster to edit on the fly. You really need to invest some time to learn its menus. But it's fully capable once you understand the thing. The es8 is a whole new level above. The key features that are a benifit to me are reordering pedals, and ease of on the fly edits and computer editing and backup. But there's so much more it can do besides that. I'm not actually using my es8 anymore since I got a helix. I really should get round to selling it!

UPS - Unbelievably Poor Service. Avoid this courier...
GisserD replied to Dood's topic in General Discussion
That is an ending I like May I say Dood, although we never had many (if any) dealings on this forum, I've always respected and valued your considered and knowledgable input on many topics. So I probably speak for most if not all of basschat that you absolutely deserve this positive ending. I'm positively thrilled for you!!! -

the suspense is killing me!!! this is WAY better than Emerdale! -
I love that they release a bass oriented track first!! They must be the only band i know of, who "Really" appreciate their bass player.

ive been on the lookout for a Deco at a good price for about a year now. Some of the Bass demos of the saturation side really impressed me!! I just snagged one on ebay so i guess ill get to try one at last edit. heres a thread i started earlier this year...

The sub n up is digital....

So... I'm now sufficiently interested in this to have read some of the manual... It appears that on its own the Enzo can only store 1 preset. With an exp pedal, it can morph between 2... (But can it store 2 if powered off???) The additional 4 button will allow it to recall 4 presets. The additional midi box will allow it to recall 16 presets via midi PC the midi box will also allow infinite presets to be recalled by midi sysex files. Realistically I think for my setup, a pedal with this much functionality would really need at least 16 presets to make it worth whyle.... So the midi box would be essential.

The neck on these elite jazzs are phenomenal! Effortless to play and sound Killer!

This. Hands down my favourite reberb pedal. And I've had a few!! The way you can go from subtal flavours to rich layering textures, and everythingin between, is just fantastic. I have two. I could be tempted to let one go if your interested as I now have a helix....

Much more comprehensive demo here.... ... Now I'm getting interested. Some usable bass sounds in this one

Earbud recommendations up to about 30 quid

soundmagics E10. i can confirm they are fully washing machine proof as they regularly end up in the wash after a gym session and always come out sounding great! -
That does sound amazing! and it does pack an awful lot into that small enclosure. however, i didn't really hear anything usable on the synth side for bass. the filters sound sweet tho!! ill be keeping my eye on this one, but for purely entertainment reasons.

i had a close look before i reassembled mune and those surface mounted components are really easy to remove. any hobbiest with a soldering iron and a solder sucker could do it without destroying anything. or even risking anything for that matter!! i really hope you can find a way to make it work as everybody knows its the best octaver. anything else would just be settling!! Best of luck!

Yes!! I was reading through this thread waiting for somone to mention xotic. Surely the best jazz on the planet today?... Gets my vote anyway!

Your going to be skinning it alive!!!

if you can stretch your budget just a little, you can find a set of Sennheiser HD280s. I canot recomend these highly enough. Ive had mine for nearly 10 years, and in that time, although they have been treated pretty badly, they still sound/look fantastic. They are easy to wear for long periods, as they kind of give your head a little hug

So the measurements are in.... Let's call it 30mm Although most of that is made up of the jack sockets, which surely won't be used?? And the pots, which could be mounted anywhere. Even the power connector won't be used as id expect it to be hard wired?? Removal of the aforementioned parts would make the board 16mm deep at the largest cap. But even those could be removed easily and "laid down" if it was to make the difference. Just my 2p tho. I'm sure the guys building it are way more competent than I at this sorta stuff. I can't wit to see how it goes!!

Yes parallel paths are possible on the HXFX You can mix them to mono, or send them to separate outs.
