Just been doing some work for someone, and I had to revisit some Orchestration techniques before I made an Ass of myself, and thankfully this site came in useful. In the 50/60's Monk Montgomery did ok (great) with it, he seemed to get that natural decay and lovely thick round tone of an Upright, he was also a good DB player that could swing nicely, which helped...but yep, they are few and far between. Garry

Most freebies (not all) are usually just .dll files that don't need registration, and they can be dragged and dropped anywhere you want, but on a lot of 3rd party VST/VSTi's that come with libraries and presets, the .dll will only install from the original disc.
