1. Right!? Well sadly the cabs gone now, sold on differant means.. So I've decided to improve on the offer to move the now lonely amp along. £100 will now include postage if that makes it more attractive and I guess I'll throw the kettle lead in.
2. I should have stated that they will be with me in my place of work in Fife until Friday where I'll be taking them home to Lancashire for the holidays incase anyone lives near and wants a look or could negotiate a drop off. Many thanks Toots
3. 2 great bits of kit that work excellently together but are much more than I need for bedroom noodling which is the only playing I do nowadays. Both items purchased on here and have barely left the house since and have never been gigged (sadly). Happy to split for separate sale or would preferablely sell together. Will ship at the cost of the buyer. Cab - £150 Amp - £100 The amp is in used condition and by that I mean there is a scratch or two on the surface of the top side but in perfect working order. The cab is 'near' perfect as I can't see a mark on it! It has lived in its cover at all times when not being used. I'll throw in a speakon cable if bought together.
4. Interesting.. I have the battalion and I love it it’s the only pedal I have in my chain beside my tuner now... would like to see how this compares.. only £30 cheaper than the bigger brother though.
5. Just bought a bass from Alex and it all went swimmingly. trade and buy with confidence.
6. It’s in Harrogate at the minute but I’m home in Lancashire over Christmas and i’ll Take it with me in case some one wants it.. 😉
7. So I’m Shifting my 5er. Turns out I’m just not meant for 5 strings. It’s a lovely bass and the tone is awesome I just don’t play onto the B... it just sits there and I’m wasting it to be fair. Bass is almost immaculate and has been barely played for the reasons above and it’s never been gigged. This is the custom version with the up scaled pups, pots and preamp.
8. I recently got mine and to be frank I'm chuffed. the effects channel is versatile enough to find subtle dirt or some pretty over the top fuzz. I found early on the sound I was after and was happy with my purchase from there. Great little pedal small size and cheap... no complaints... well actually the noise gate is a bit dodgy on mine even with it barely on it cuts my sustain but I've no experience with them and don't know if that's common. Great pedal worth a shot I'd say.
9. Just sold some pedals to Mark great comms from start to finish. Buy and sell with confidence! Cheers again Mark
10. Bump. Price drop I'll do the lot for £110 plus postage.
11. They will be with me In Lancashire for the next three days if any north westerners want a look.
12. No real introduction needed for these boss pedals. They where all bought together 2 years ago and have barely been used. Great pedals I just can't find a use for them in my playing. £40 each, I have all the original boxes. also selling the three pedal carry case/pedalboard for £10. Located in St. Andrews Scotland but can easily post individually or as a job lot in the case at buyers expense.
13. Yeah I think it was on cassette when my dad used to play it in the car! I'll be sure to catch it live if I ever get the chance.
14. So I was reminded of the war of the worlds musical recently and I had a long drive today and downloaded it for the trip. I'm sure many of you know it and how brilliant the music is... I always knew it was good as a kid (last time I heard it I was about 12).. however listening to it from a slightly wiser point of view (only very slightly wiser) I was chuffed from start to finish... it's packed with amazing lines and guitar pieces I just never appreciated before. Also Phil Lynotts vocals on 'spirit of man' could be some of his best (imo of course). So if you know it, as I thought I did it, might be worth another listen. If nothing else it doesn't half make a drive go in a flash (you know... like a flash from a Martian ray gun)
15.
Can't believe these haven't sold.... You should offer a free round of golf to anybody who collects in person.
Haha cheers mick! Im pretty sure a game at the old course is about £90 so I can offer...to play one game with anyone who buys these as long as they pay my green fees and also I borrow their clubs cos mine suck... Cheers Alex
16. Bought Tc 2x12 from Rhys. Spot on, great condition would recommend future dealings! Cheers
17.
I'll throw this in My left handed p-body built up for me as a righty. It's more difficult to play than it should be, doesn't sound as good as my proper Fender, but for performances it's interesting to anyone who notices.
This is a bit sore to look at. Makes me sort of uncomfortable. I like it though... I think.
18. The song that sticks out as the hardest I've ever tried to nail a song was Hysteria by muse it came out just after I'd started playing. That riff was my Everest as a young bassist. Had to keep coming back to it. Was trying to run before I could crawl. Was all I played for a while once I'd nipped it. Drove all my friends mad!
