1. Just completed a trade with this forum user and have to say it was a pleasure. We traded Basses, via distance, on a postal and trust basis. So it can, and does happen, have faith in humankind. Great Bass as well, excellent condition and am really pleased with it, and the outcome of the whole deal. A great guy, cheers. The GroovyPlucker
2.
At last I've got my MM StingRay, so up for grabs is myWarwick Corvette $$ in Nirvana Black. I bought this new in 2006 and it's been my main gigging bass for the past 2½ years. It's in extremely good condition with all electrics working 100% and minimal fret wear. This bass is used but by no means abused. I look after my gear and treat it with the respect it deserves. The black chrome finish has worn away on the pickup screws and on the bridge saddles. (See pics). Obviously this does not affect the playability, and in fact it wore off during the first six months. As you can see from the pics the black oil finish next to the bridge pickup has worn a bit, but I have to rest my fingers somewhere! Aside from that, the body is unmarked. The bass has never been dropped, knocked or dinked and the neck is straight and unmarked. There is a very slight mark on the top of the headstock, but you'd have to look very hard to see it. I replaced the original Warwick strap locks with Schaller ones early on because I found the Warwick ones to be a bit unreliable. They have a push button to release them and I found that the pins started jamming meaning that they wouldn't seat properly when I put the strap on, potentially causing the strap to part company with the guitar. The Schaller strap fittings will be included in the sale. It comes with the original Warwick gig bag and case candy. (Allen keys, truss rod tool, manual and unopened Warwick polishing cloth). I'm putting this on eBay just to keep my options open. Wish I could afford to keep it, but something must go to justify my StingRay! I'm down in sunny (ha ha) Cornwall. If you live in my neck of the woods you're very welcome to come and try it. As for the price, I'd like to see £625 for it. (I've done my homework and the best price I've found on a new one of these is £945 from Absolute Music Solutions in Poole, Dorset.)
Would you be interested in a trade, have a fender steve harris precision bass, cheers mark

4. Just testing the water, but may sell my Steve Harris Precision Bass as I'm not using it at the mo. Anyone interested in a trade? Musicman, Spector, Active Precision? The Steve Harris is the most recent version, as opposed to the 1st with the eddie symbol on the head, mirrored pick gaurd, seymour duncan quarter pounders for pick ups.
5. Hi, What sort of thing are you looking for to trade? Cheers Mark
6. Hi, PM'd u there about a trade for a Boss ME50B, or cash sale, did you get it, cheers GroovyPlucker
7. Neck dive on the Epi EB3 is about the same as a thunderbird, but personally I found the EB3 easier to handle. Fantastic sounding bass, better in my opinion than the Gibson Reissue, which I also had. Much more tonal variation from the epi eb3. GroovyPlucker
8. Hi, Having just bought an Ashdown Mark King rackmount amp, am looking to fill a case with tuner and fx units. Anyone any suggestions as too which are good, thinking of the current Korg tuner, and maybe a Basspod pro xt rack. Another thing is, all these rack units seem to differ in width, the Mark King amp especially, it's wider than the standard 19" as far as I can gather, any thoughts, Cheers GroovyPlucker
9. Bought a Musicman Sterling HH of Rob there, and have to add to the great comments left previously. Extremely helpful and patient in the face of many pm's, great deal struck, and finally, couriered with the utmost care and protection. I buy a lot of Basses and have them delivered, and the attention to detail, care, and decency of this guy in all aspects of the transaction was 1st class, hang on, I'm just off to get a hanky I'm welling up now [Gwynth Paltrow moment over] Seriously though, 100% satisfaction, Cheers The GroovyPlucker
