  1. BUMP as I'm gassing for something one here
  2. Up for sale, tentatively, is my Fender Roger Waters Precision Bass, I say that as I might just keep it if no interest. My main concern with it is the neck profile is a bit too thick and chunky for my wee hands. Apart from that it's huge, in all aspects, big, thick body, fat neck, big pickups, big sound, amazing sustain, probably due to the brass nut as well, also looks as cool as f**k. Made in Mexico, but extremely well put together as most signature basses out of Mexico are these days. It's a Fender 50's Precision in all but name, the most sought after, at a price less than a 50's reissue, even though this was meant to be modelled on a 70's Precision I believe. £600 includes U.K. shipping. Not keen on shipping outside the U.K. due to cost and previous bad experience. TRADES CONSIDERED. 4. That looks a great price, I have a MONO Dual bag, cost me near £200, GLWTS.......
  5. Thanks Karl, was seriously tempted at the time, just didn't have the reddies, much nicer colour combo as well......
  6. Did you ever sell the Red one you had, I believe it was the same Bass?
  7. most of the 50's reissues are maple board, they're lovely and bright, but not too bright......
  8. Yeah, loving it, have a Midget on top now, which is er..nice, you saving up for another barefaced?
  9. Nice Bass Richard, how do them Aguilar pick ups compare to say Seymour Duncan's etc, is the stacked knob part of an active pre-amp? GLWTS....
  10. Cheers Nik, most people said i smelt warm and fat too, was very hot in there........Chris is probably one of the best front men I've ever worked for, no prima donna, down to earth nice guy, also a superb singer, check out The Screaming Eagles his originals band. The Combo is going through the PA, so most of the sound is coming from that stage left speaker where the cam is positioned next to, but it did cut through stage wise above those screeching half stacks. Thanks for your kind words....
  11. Cheers Kevin, proving hard to move on, which is surprising as it's a quality combo.......
  12. Just to reiterate the above comments, I found Jack to be a really nice, easy guy to talk to, bought his Barefaced Midget, shipped it over to me and I have to say his attention to detail in packing the cab was second to none, shows a real sense of care sadly missing from some online retailers. Have no qualms in dealing with this fellow Basschatter.
  13. Thanks for that LewisK, the 2nd edition is surely the best looking, can't stand West Ham, sure it'll put a lot of people off, unless it's removable, also that aerodyne style edged body's not for everyone....
  14. they might be on the new white version, 1st 2 editions had spb1's.......I think anyway....
  15. they're spb 1's on the steve harris I believe, had a steve harris 2nd edition, superb bass...
  16. Thanks for your thoughts folks, have got a set of SPBII's, but might jump into the Dimarzio next time as I'm hearing good reports
  17. Sorry Jack, chap came in there at 2 o clock and bought her, maybe we should've traded in the first place.....
