1. For that price I can get three Chinese clones with a pedal board and power supply.
  2. I don't think straps alone will solve the issue. Keeping fit and lower back strength exercises might help.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/JTDEAL-Display-Electric-Acoustic-Mandolin/dp/B01IT14IFO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474899149&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=Guitar+Wall+Hanger%2C+JTDEAL+Wall+Mount+Hanger&psc=1 Cool. That looks cool. But as Rhys says: I've got plasterboard walls - the answer in my house is to use no-nails to stick some wood to the wall, then mount on that. Don't know as I want to do that too much though. It could end up with wood blocks all over the place. It's floor-stands for me too.
I've got solid brick walls so shouldn't be an issue although prefer floor stand but not safe with the baby around.
  4.
Just post your login credentials and we'll be able to see it.... maybe add your credit card info just to be sure
You wish lol
  5.
I'm sure that's great and good luck with it... whatever it is. The link to your shopping cart doesn't work for us, but good luck
Thanks here's the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01IT14IFO/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474898220&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Guitar+Wall+Hanger%2C+JTDEAL+Wall+Mount+Hanger+Keeper+Hooks+Holder+for+Home+and+Studio%2C+Ideal+Display+for+Electric%2C+Acoustic+Guitars%2C+Bass%2C+Banjo%2C+Mandolin+etc+%282pcs%29
  6. Can anyone recommend a reliable wall guitar mount. The ones on Amazon appear to have fake reviews.
  7. Matt Freeman. Got one and loving it.
  8.
I get your point SH73 but working in the field I can only say we are spoiled by having OFCOM managing radio spectrum for us. In the EU and especially the USA it's a very different story in terms of time & cost implications trying to clear frequency space to use. IMO&E the charge for the Channel 38 license is well worth it knowing you're good to go, interference free (from Freeview, 4G, etc), UK wide. I guess this is where the 2.4 GHz equipment neatly caters for those that don't want to pay for a license and where it doesn't matter e.g. jamming at home.
Makes sense
  9.
No point in arguing semantics with me, I'm just telling you how it is. If you think it's wrong or unfair then its OFCOM you need to take it up with.
No intention to argue. It's like the government wants to charge to breath air. No idea who IFCOM are but reckon it's an agency that had the electromagnetic field pattended.
  10.
Yes You may own your home, but you don't own the frequency spectrum.
Disagreed, nothing but electromagnetic waves as they occur in space and in the everyday environment. They are not tangible and not manufactured.
  11.
Is he selling to move onto Handbox?
No idea but it's overpriced
  12.
?
Predictive text. If I played with wireless system at home, surely the licence law does not apply. Or does it?
  13. Came across this....on Talkbass http://m.ebay.com/itm/172229653596?_mwBanner=1
  14.
Numark are about to release a digital system I'm the 863/865 MHz band, I will let you know how it performs.
Surely if I play at home wireless know will ever know?
  15.
I've got one on a bitsa bass. They're pretty good. Nice and solid, slightly chunkier looking than the BadAss II.
Does it makes a difference in sustain etc in comparison to a standard fender/squier bridge?
  16. Thinking of getting this for one of my p bass. Anyone got one. I think they're on the Steve Harris p bass with West Ham logo.Any views on this bridge.Look similar to badass II. http://darrenriley.com/store/fender-badass-style-high-mass-bass-bridge-iv-brass-saddles-0994408000/

    Great bass sound

I've cone across this video and love the bass sound starting @ 1:20 mins.Particularly when Homer plays the scale.Any ideas what settings they are etc. Sounds like Flatwound and pick. https://youtu.be/YPhO5g39vpg
  18.
Being US-made it will require an Imperial sized key. Best therefore to get a set of 10 metric and 10 Imperial allen keys. Still only about £10 and you'll never need to buy another allen key in your life.
This. I got my for about £4.99 from Machine Mart
  19. Machine Mart. It even has the size for badass II. Good price for a set.much cheaper than b and q.
  20.
Not exactly sure how to title this or if I've even got the right part of the forum, I have searched but I don't even really know exactly what terms I'm looking for, anyway, here goes... I want to be able to play along to MP3s on my computer with my bass plugged into said computer and listen either through headphones or a pair of speakers. I doubt I'll ever do any recording though that is a possibility. This is mainly for learning stuff and when I have to be doing so quietly and can't move my bass rig to where my computer is. I've been looking at various USB powered audo interfaces but the info I can't find is whether I can, basically, play along to the song I'm listening to and have my bass come out the same speakers. Pretty limited budget for purchases - max about £40 (just bought an MTD KZ5 and then got asked by a friend to play on something he's working on which I need to learn...) On my very short short-list are the Behringer 302USB Xenyx 5 Input Mixer and ALESIS Core 1 USB Audio Interface - sound quality isn't a huge issue... would be nice for it be halfway decent though. Any help and advice greatly appreciated.
I use Scarlet Focusrite 2i2. But I like the amp sound recorded via a mic not the di sound. It came with Ableton live lite daw.
  21. With your avi don't expect replies. On a serious note. Have you tried you tube?
  22.
Maybe a bit too weird for export. Apparently it's a Jolana Disco Bass.
You're correct. Was my first bass. Awful pups.
