  1. I prefer the non hidden version, it's more free jazz. 🤪
  2. For sure you win, I had to watch it twice to be sure I wasn't deaf or dumb or both. That sound when he gets in is simply amazing! A dying cow out of tune, literally! 😂😂😂😂
  3. @Tomino aka Tom bought my Warmoth Jazz Bass. Fast payment, smooth and easy transaction. A real pleasure to deal with. Tom is highly recommended. A++++++++ as they say elsewhere. Enjoy your new bass. Cheers.

  4. These are BassCulture stacked humbuckers (because of the wires colour). Ask Christoph Dolf there : https://www.bassculture.de/impressum.html
  5. The Benedetti pickups are really amazing.
  6. And you can even adjust its action through a hole in the pickguard or at the rear.
  7. It's in fact a dummy coil to avoid the usual humming noise of the single coil pickups.
  8. I hope so. That said, if you read the text, you'll notice that it's utter marketing bullshìt.
  9. Or maybe a Shergold Modulator...
  10. Or a Shergold Modulator, maybe I need to copyright it, who knows.
  11. Do you know that the strings are supposed to pass under the pickup cover...?
  12. And I put this excellent lightweight bridge on my Rebellion Jazz Bass, it's a great plus compared to an original MusicMan or a simple budget one like yours. https://www.ampshopbassexchange.com/product/albridge-parts-m20b-music-man-style-4-string-quick-release-bridge-for-jazz-bass-or-precision-electric-bass-guitars/ The new version is not a quick release model. It's this:
  13. You can put the output jack this way up the rear cavity, which is far better that a barrel jack side mounted ergonomically speaking.
  14. I guess you mean a neck pickup...
  15. The place that was Andy's Guitar Workshop is is now called Denmark Street Guitars, but has been Hank's Guitar Shop in between : https://www.denmarkstreetonline.co.uk/ That said, the more I look at it, the more it looks like a stolen guitar with all the distinctive signs erased... It could also be a Schecter hardtail from the 80/90's as it has the smaller headstock, but most of them had gold hardware or a Fender from the same period, but then the hardtail bridge is a modern replacement. Waiting for way more photos.
  16. These are CTS pots and have a code on them that can be easily deciphered, just like the back of the pickups. The switch looks like a CRL model, and if still original should be a 3 position model. Furthermore, some photos of the heel of the neck might help too just like a photo of the body with the pickguard removed and a photo of the front of the headstock. The Schaler tuners are a common upgrade on Strats as they align with the original lower holes.
  17. With such poor quality and useless photos, all I can say is that it's been modified at some point and was originally a mid to late 70's or even very early 80's (this kind of checking is typical from this period) hard tail Fender Stratocaster, named so, because it has no tremolo, but a fixed bridge. Robert Cray used to play one and even has a Fender signature model.
  18. You're, welcome. 😉
  19. That's it, just reverse these two wires on ONE pickup only.
  20. Your pickups are out of phase, it can happen even with the best makers. Simply reverse the phase of one pickup by inverting the hot (+) and cold (earth or -) wires and it should work normally.
  21. Not sure, but it could be a Shergold Modulator.
