1. Hi All, Recently purchased a used Markbass 2x10 combo but a condition of the trade was that I had to also take an As New 102HF cab, which I don't really need. So this is available if anyone is interested. Please click the below link for specifications. Note my one is the yellow coned twin ported version at 8 ohms. Looking for £300.00 and based in South London. 102HF
2. Thanks Warwickhunt for posting the link. Height is 30 inches. Width is only 21" which makes it so easy for carrying through doorways. PM to Kalim.
3.
Thanks goodness for that... I kept coming back to drool over these...
Same here. I should have bought these.
4. This is the type of design that would sell in mainland Europe. Have you thought about Ebay with a view to shipping to Germany etc ? I'm sure you would get more than £200.00.
5. Sorry Steve.
Arse parts, how did I miss this
6.
Does it need / come with an external power supply, or does it just run on batteries?
No power adaptor with this but just using a battery it does last for some time.
7. Thanks guys. I agree they are pretty loud for something quoted at 30 watts. Some decent sounds in there as well. More than just a practise amp.
8. Could be interested in a straight swap for a good left handed bass.
9. Thanks Derek. Surprised yours are still available. I had the Tech mini 15 and that was a fantastic little cab. I confess to be tempted by your 12's.
10. Not sure what is meant by cleaning up the tone but the original signal is not overly affected like with some compressors where the highs are lost. This signal is crisp and clear with the compressor on.
11. I've started using a combo with my main band so now in a postion to let my second Tech 4x10 go. Sorry, No postage. 4x10 cab, rated at 1200 watts handling. 4 ohms. weight is only 53Ibs. Asking price is £500 and cash on collection only. Welcome to try with no obligation. Based in Bromley, South London. Thanks for looking.
12. Aphex Optical Compressor in very good condition. On-board DI out which is also very handy. Very easy to use. The effect is quite subtle so lets through the natural sound of the instrument while levelling the signal. If your looking for an OTT squash effect this is not for you. £50.00 including postage.
13. Roland Bass Cube 30 in great condition. Home use only so never driven hard. Has amp modelling, effects, compressor. Have used it at home with my electrics, EUB and electro acoustic and worked well with all. Would prefer cash on collection at £90.00 or will post for additional £20.00. Based in Bromley, South London.
14. Bump to the top. Things disappear off the 1st page pretty quick these days.
15. This may look familiar as I had it up for sale a few weeks back, then decided to keep it as it sounded so good. But going forward I'm using a wedge combo for the main band so will let it go. This is in great condition. 500 watts into 2 ohms. Comes with rack ears and gigbag, but not the rack case. I should be realistic pricewise in the current climate so does £370.00 including postage sound reasonable ?
16. Bump.... £90 for the Roland ?

RIP Leftysteve

Very sad news. Never met Steve but being a fellow lefty we exchanged a few PMs and he came accross as a really nice guy.
18. Bit of a mini tour for the function band this last weekend.... Did a Corporate at the Royal Lanc Hotel north of Hyde Park on friday, then straight to the aiport for a wedding anniversary in Sicily on saturday. Came back next morning and stright to another party at The Cumberland, Marble Arch. Interesting thing about the Sicily job was all instruments were laid on but my request for a left handed bass never got through, so ended up having to play a very nice stingray 5 upside down. Strings were also the wrong way round for me as I could not change them due to the guy who was kindly providing the bass quite rightly refusing to let me do anything with it other than play it. My brain was fried by the end of the gig but really got into the challenge about halfway through.
19. Usually a 9 piece but on rare occasions anything between 5 and 12 depending on client request. Brass can go up to a 4 piece plus extra singers, percussion, maybe even dancers.
20. Fishman now sold. Roland Cube 30 and Boss GT-6b still available.
21. We are doing Dubai again this year at over £500 each plus expenses. I'm treating it as a well deserved 3-4 day break but having a problem convincing my wife and children that it's work. Any ideas for hiding the tan when I get back ? I think the most I got for a UK NYE was £400 but have done some around the £300 to £350 mark.
22. Need to fund some other gear so these are available..... Boss Bass Cube 30 in perfect condition and never been out of the house. Amp modelling with effects. I used it several times, then my son practised guitar through it for a couple of weeks, then not used. £100.00 plus £20.00 postage. Would prefer collection on this ideally. ROLAND BASS 30 Fishman Pro-Eq Platinum Bass. ***SOLD*** Fantastic little unit in perfect condition with original packaging, manual. It's a preamp with onboard optical compressor, DI out, and not much bigger than a stomp box. Great for electric, EUBs, DBs, electro acoustics. Very clean sound and quiet. £85.00 including postage. FISHMAN PLATINUM Boss GT-6b with power adaptor in very good condition. I also have a gator gigbag to go with this but it's seen better days. £140.00 including postage. BOSS GT-6B I'm based in South London and people are welcome to try before buying. I'll try and get some pictures uploaded soon Thanks for looking and pm me with any questions.
23.
I've got one!.... it's a great amp! *BUMP*
Thanks Bottomfeed. I'm getting some very positive comments from our sound tech and fellow musos on my sound at the moment so starting to think I should be keeping this. I'm confused.
