1. I have a Boss GT-6b for sale in very good condition with power adaptor. Perfect working order. I can include a Gator bag. Seen better days but fine for carrying/protection. Seen a couple of these go on Ebay recently for around £150 so looking for £150.00 including postage within UK.
2. Picture of actual unit.
3.
re. the 2x12 - Will that be one of the early Tech Soundsystems cabs with one 12" forward firing and the other on an angled baffle (as per the Schroeders) with the silver poly driver cones?
I guess it must be one of the early silver coned ones as the first generation 2x12 cabs by Tech SS featuring neo drivers was 600 watts. Nice cabs but quite different to the later neos. I think we should end this thread now and let people focus on other items for sale. Thanks again everyone.
4. BBE Opto Stomp for sale in good condition, with original box/manual. Looking for £50.00 including postage. Will post picture later.
5. Just a reminder that my Bassix EUB is still available and I could be interested in Part Ex for other left handed basses.
6. Been a 5 string owner/player for nearly 20 years now. Quite like going back to a 4 every now and again (feels like coming home).
7.
Hi Alan, who bought it?
Sold to Bassbloke. Sounded great with his Tech Soundsystem head.
8. SOLD. Thanks for all enquires.
9. Had one of these as well. Nice sounding chorus to IIRC. Good price.
10. Bump to the top.
11. Pretty sure I'll be back with an EBS head sometime soon as well. Heard a rumour months ago they were working on a micro amp to compete in that field.
12. Und zur spitze.
13.
I love the tone! i know its mostly in the fingers, but any ideas to help achieve that on my graphic eq?
Are you using a high end Jazz and an EBS head (HD350/TD650) ? Pretty standard tone from that combination. Sure the DI is post eq on that recording. Not my thing musically but can appreciate what she does, and she nails it.
14.
Take it you're not interested in its 2x10 brethren?
Afraid not Josh. Once I've sold this I'm pretty much sorted with cabs for the moment, although would like to get my hands on a Tecamp 2x12 again in the not to distant future.
15. Bump, and a price drop to £450.00.
16. Pictures of actual cab. Note on the back panel there is a jack socket which allows the tweeter to be turned on/off via a standard footswitch.
17.
incidentally, how are people looking for the lefty bass bash now its closer?
Would like to meet some of you guys but can't make it I'm afraid.
18. Forgot to say, could be interested in part ex on left handed basses (cash my way or yours depending what it is), possibly amps. Would like to try a Deep Impact. PM with what you have.
19. Bump to the top.
20. Same here, mid is too powerful but rarely need to use it. Always keep the bass/treble flat. I tend to play over the bridge pickup which gives me enough of a punchy tone.
21.
I know the feeling. Mine was in impulse purchase from ebay.com when the £ was strong. Think I paid about £400 for it !! Can't live without it these days.
Great buy for £400. Mine was £600 here in the UK but came with original case etc and hardly played, so was happy with that. Out of interest what strings are you using on the Jazz ? I've been using Stainless Steel Elites r/wound packs but not that sure I'm gtting the best out of it with these. So expensive experimenting with strings these days.
22. Thanks for the comments guys. Some great looking basses being shown in many of the Gear P**n threads at the moment.
23. Top wood is Camphor Burr. With the right eq the MM pickup does come close to a genuine Musicman but is not the same. A number of factors including the bass construction and circuit come into play here, but it is capable of coming close to the punch of a MM. Dial in a little J and it gets a little warmer which is how I like it.
24.
So is the Jazz Deluxe the most popular lefty (in terms of ownership) amongst our clan? I've got the Montego Black with rosewood. Any variations on that?
Same, black with rosewood. To think I almost moved it on a few months back.
25.
Sod this, show us some pics of your Shuker.
Just posted in the Shuker Mega Thread.
