1. Forgot I'm meant to be selling this, so bump.
2.
Whynot was due to get one recently and was about to take it to either a gig or band practice - can't remember which. He might pick up on this thread later....
Yes, bought one last sunday on the way to a gig. Got an ok deal from Bonners plus free footswitch (to follow). Used on 3 gigs so far with 3 different cabs (15, 2x12, 4x10) and very happy with it. I mainly do corporate/wedding gigs and this head is ideal for my situation. As close as you can get to plug a play, courtesy of the on-board tuner and presets. A compressor is important to me and this must be one of the best I've found within an amp. I did a corporate up in Manchester conference centre last night. Had a surprised thumbs up for FOH bass sound within seconds. Will probably get round to commenting on the sound once I've played with it a little more, but like any amp, try before buying if possible.
3. Bump to £300 including postage or £275 cash on collection.
4.
Which one's have you ordered? I Just picked up a PUMA1000 head at the weekend - Tecamp gear rocks
S212 and M212. I was thinking of getting an S212 later but they have stopped production of the front ported S212, having gone rear ported which I'm not a fan of. So got an ok deal for both. Well done on the Puma 1000. I think Tecamp have raised the bar with the puma heads.
5. I like his playing. Dave has a real passion for Classical music these days so I heard.
6. Loud, punchy, portable. Ideal for backline or standalone for smaller gigs. Articulate, clear tone so will suit acoustic / upright basses as well as electric. Can handle the low B no problem. The driver is the same as used by what became Tecamp in their smaller 15 cab up till Jan08. I put a Jazz in the picture just to give an idea of size (sorry not a great comparison but shows the cab well). Could be interested in a straight swap on a modern micro amp. Any questions please pm.
7. Just ordered a couple of Tecamp cabs so am letting this go. Tech Soundsystems ND115S Mini 15 in very good condition. 400 watts at 4 ohm. Silly weight at 36lbs. Looking for £300 plus £25 postage. Will post pictures later.
8. Thanks everyone. Aurora from the last posting appears to be 15 minutes drive from me so I'll contact them this week.
9. Hi all, I'm looking for a black matt scratchplate to replace the stock one on my Fender US Jazz Deluxe. Any suggestions the best place to order from, ideally within UK but will order from overseas if I have to.
10. Some nice basses there. Unfortunately Ernie Ball won't allow new MM basses to be shipped directly outside the US as I enquired a year back when the £ was worth a lot more.
Hi guys, I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the site, but there's a good sale at Bass Central at the moment, and they will ship internationally. I'm told their sale prices are negotiable, and they've got a large selection of lefties in: Bass Central lefty deals
11. When I joined an originals touring band back in 80/81 I decided I needed a quality bass (even though I couldn't play that well), borrowed the full £595.00 from my parents and bought a new WAL Custom.
12.
What kind of amp would you be looking for in part exchange?
Nothing specific in mind so let me know what you have.
13. Final bump at £600 before Ebay.
14. Josh, that 4x10 will sound a lot better than your 2x10 (not a bit), but likes to be driven, so you don't get the best out of it at low volumn. I still think Bassblokes 2x12 is worth chasing up. Will also throw the 2x10 into touch. These all use to be my cabs so know what they are capable of if you have any questions.
15. Forgot to say, ok with postage on this. At a guess I think around £40.
16. Lightweight, versatile Markbass 2x10 combo in great condition and perfect working order. The tilt-back option is ideal for backline use where monitoring is an issue. I bought my old Tech SS mini 15 cab back from Bassbloke so that now covers my small cab requirement, only reason for this sale. Not really sure what these are worth used but noticed one go for over £750 on Ebay last month so looking for £650.00. Could be interested in part-ex on an amp or left handed bass. If anywhere near the Bromley/South London area then your welcome to come and try.
17. Did a fantastic job on a bass of mine, refret etc. Only drawback is turnaround time so may have to chase him to complete the job, otherwise nothing negative to say.
18. Bump.
19. The Thumb went, but can confirm not to me.
20. Bump plus price drop to £140 including postage.
21. Bump.
22. I have a Boss GT-6b for sale in very good condition with power adaptor. Perfect working order. I can include a Gator bag. Seen better days but fine for carrying/protection. Seen a couple of these go on Ebay recently for around £150 so looking for £150.00 including postage within UK.
23. Picture of actual unit.
