1.
you should really be looking for a 3/4 size bass.
How come?
2. well they said they'd set it up to whatever way I want it for what ever style I'm playing. I have been looking for used cheaper instruments like you mentioned but nothings come up, and I've no vehicle or licence so I'm limited to trying anything I might find in Birmingham only, and of course, there are so many folks looking for exactly the same thing which pushes the prices up a bit too much for me.
3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=007 Can't find anything in shops at this kind of price, it seems about right for a beginner db price wise. What do you think? It's a bit ugly color wise but it is only going to be for practicing I suppose.
4. Jeez, that entwistle guy is one rigid mofo on stage! I never really liked the who though, but he's a good bassist.
5. stevie wonder tune black man is tricky, I can do it now but it took ages.
6. I kinda like it, but I would never get on with that shape, it looks really uncomfortable.
7.
Crikey!! I'm not one for handbags either I am not moaning, purely enquiring as to when I should be concerned! I've never stopped my husband from purchasing another 'wife', I did however grumble when he purchased one when our daughter was due to be born anyday!! I understand from him that this is one of the most popular of his basses on this forum mind!
Yeah but women like to have handbags and shoes to go with their clothing colors, and handbags/shoes can be very inexpensive and don't take up a lot of space, where's basses...
8. I seen one dude here with a purple sheehan bass, maybe that's the guy she's on about, can't think of who it was..
9. I've only one bass right now, and unless I'm gigging, I don't see the point in having more, fretless/upright maybe if you like that too but anything else is just obsession for a bedroom bassist. If he's just playing at home and not doing anything else with it, you shouldn't put up with it, unless you've got an endless supply of space and money, but I expect you don't lol, in which case there's always gonna be more important, more constructive things to spend money on.
10. LOL people go mad for these, they look pretty hideous to me but I'm sure they must be nice to play on.
11. Just 1 atm... LOL think I'm the only person to vote 1 so far.
12. I got a regular one, it don't have a score thing on it but I can't be bothered with that anyway. I guess it's good for preventing diseases of the hand/wrist, can't be sure, but if it's used in rehabilitation of things like RSI, it must be helpful. Using it infrequently will do naff all. If you lose the red shoe lace starter thingies, like I did, make your knee strait and roll it off that real quick, some people can even start them with their fingers, but fk knows I can't do it.
13. Btw, aren't these discontinued now? I always liked the look.

16. That's Bill Clements, and we've all seen him before , his other video has been posted that many times on some bass sites that he's permanently stickied. I do like his style.
17. Yeah, I started as a guitar player, but I always had this craving to play on those big chunky strings, I just had to get a bass. I much prefer the bass to be honest.
18. I was thinking maybe one of the Italia basses since you mentioned blue and sparkly, but they're MIK... I can't imagine what it might be.
