So, this was sold to a gentleman in France and unfortunately DPD Chronopost knacked it by what looks like dropping it on the top corner and unseating the tweeter. Obviously it was returned to me and thats cool. DPD refuse compensation so I have repaired it and tested/all working but I am selling it with the warning and pics attached. PLEASE READ Damage - Top corner ply split and protective corner loose. Gorilla glued and clamped and now solid. Repainted with Barefaced signature paint. Tweeter screw holes knackered. Filled with timber slices, gorilla glued and painted. Holes redrilled and tweeter reseated perfectly. Various paintwork dings repainted again with the super secret Barefaced paint mixture. Its not brand new but its in decent nick and still sounds glorious. Original ad and bumps - still great cabs! Barefaced Big Twin. These are stupendous things, weight the same as a packet of hob nobs and sound like thunder. Was pairing it with my ABM600 ( also up for sale ) but I’m liking my Helix so have an all in one solution coming. Had a bash when it was delivered ( Tuffnells are feckless!) but I’ve made good and replaced the old handles with shiny new ones I also have some spare Barefaced paint too. Happy to pack it with the cab. No trades ta Collection welcome or can courier. The courier will be my 'man with a van' and the cost will be what it is. I aint sending it by a normal courier as they don't give a stinky poo. My guy is A1 and will deliver without any further damage.

Cali 76 TX Limiting Amp / Compressor Great bit of kit but I kinda still prefer the CB with the Noble. May as well push this on. Comes with original box and instructions. UK postage probably £15 and can post anywhere else at cost. Collection Hexham welcome too. Listed on FB too so will be withdrawn if sold on there

Now £375 posted in UK I bought this from @Beedster a few weeks ago and I really only wanted the neck but it was a killer PJ so I bought the whole bass. The neck indeed is sublime but I’m gonna use it on something else so the loaded body is up for grabs. Info below And U.K. shipping included in price. Be quick though as I have a Status P neck lying about that may end up on this. THE BODY The body is from an AVRI 58. It has yellowed slightly through the years (I've owned this for roughly 3 years). It was bought new from Guitar Guitar in Glasgow. It is finished in a very thin nitro that has worn in many places. It has many dings and scratches but it hasn't been mistreated. It's been my workhorse for the past 3 years and it shows. Some parts are getting darker due to friction (mostly where the arm rests). The paint has also cracked in the back and there is a bit of paint missing. There is also some less visible cracking that I haven't been able to show on camera. THE ELECTRONICS The middle pickup is an AVRI58 pickup with raised A pole pieces. The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio instead. The position of the bridge pup gives you a pj sound but a slightly fatter one plus it's great to use rest your thumb on it. Lifting the tone knob will result in a series/parallel switch, great if you need some extra meaty sound for pick playing or solos. THE HARDWARE The bridge is from the AVRI58 except for one screw that rusted and it had to be changed. The 3 knobs are just aftermarket and the anodised guard is original from the AVRI58 as well.

Dave Wilson is incredible. He’s done about 10 for me and all amazing. From sympathetic restoration to full paint jobs, he’s the man for sure.

Yeah I have had a few people asking me to reduce the bass cost by 20% for them to buy, its simply not worth it and I've kept them instead. Trading into the EU is going to be very difficult indeed. Its actually better value buying basses from the US atm. Better value for money anyway and much more choice.

NOW £550 posted Open to offers/trades/jelly beans etc... Fully loaded and custom bass body. It is mint! The body is black walnut, my favourite for building and painted in Nitro Shoreline Gold by the magnificent Dave Wilson. Fender Custom Shop ‘62 pups Badass II Bridge Kiogon loom with CTS Pots Fender off white plate Fender Precision Knobs 3kg Had the roasted maple neck on but sold that and the tuners and thought I’d offer it up for a week or so or until I find a neck to build it again. I have 15 P basses so I should really sell it 😂 Id rather not split if possible. Price includes U.K. post

I have been after a Burgundyglo 4001 Ric for ages, but never seen one for sale within a budget. Something made me look at Bass Direct tonight, about 15 minutes ago and this popped up. All original and its a 1975 ( my YOB ) so its now mine, or it will be when it gets delivered. Man I am super happy. Don't think its a bad price either at £2250. I now cant wait for it to arrive 😁

Nice, I’m heading back to the Cali 76 again when gigging returns. Always loved it but keen to hear what you make of this one. The Diamond is supposed to be pretty killer too.

😂😂 I think I have 14 or so P basses in my house atm. Dread to think how many Ives owned over the last few years let alone the last 30 years

Ashdown Amps - what are the differences between models?
walshy replied to PeteJ's topic in Amps and Cabs
I absolutely love mine. Actually got to gig it twice last year and it was magnificent.
