  1. I still listen to Benji’s first band (and Skindred)…
  2. God. Forty three f****** years… Many a Friday night spent dancing to that dressed in my punk regalia, confused teen syndrome. It’s as fresh today as it was back then. I love the way it just refuses to move out of the groove.
  3. One of the greatest tunes ever imho, relentless groove.
  4. Just met Stew at a service station in a friggin’ monsoon, a monsoon I tells ‘ya. However, despite the inclement weather, I was able to finally hand over the Sandberg he recently purchased from me. As always, great comms, ridiculously easy deal, he’s one of the trustworthy lovely folk that make BC a joy to be on. One of an increasingly rare breed, a gentleman. Cheers Stew!
  5. Well, I was a Sandberg owner very briefly. Owning these two, albeit for only a few weeks in the case of the sunburst and only a few days for the natural, has definitely and finally confirmed that short scales are my bag. These two are the finest full scale basses I’ve owned, if I’m still preferring to pick up a 32 or 30” bass then there can’t be any doubt. The sunburst is already sold and the natural will be going on the market place tomorrow. Sandberg make superb basses, I really must try out a Lionel!
  6. Mark Sandman of Morphine sounding cooler with two strings than most with four...
  7. Welcome @Girlarms
  8. A little out of column a), a little out of column b).
  9. I think that’s certainly the gold for @binky_bass. Do I get a special medal for being the biggest w@nker on BC?
  10. Man, it’s always Eek-a-time…
  11. Ogmios Zen Driving is the ultimate relaxation.
  12. The other episodes are great but Episode 2 is just great.
  13. I know it isn't reggae, not even music but The Ogmios School of Zen Driving Motoring just belongs on here somehow...
  14. That’s because, Sir, you are a man of quality and distinction.
  15. I’d turn up with a trombone and tell them to fit it up their respective gravy pipes.
  16. Sorry old chap, I’m an Erinmore man.
  17. Excellent… *dons fez, cleans glasses, settles into deep armchair, lights pipe*
  18. You, Sir, would love it.
