1.
And to be fair David, a lot of the current Wal based activity HAS been sparked and fuelled by your posts... :-)
Indeed. That point isn't lost on me!
 2.
Times are really hard on here at the moment. Nothing is reaching its value it would seem!. Some of the stuff on here is going for silly money.
Agreed. I guess it is OK if you are buying and selling here because it squares up, but otherwise it is a bit of a wake up call!
 3. Hijacked by the Wal brigade! Is it not enough that you guys have your own It's the "I don't care, I love the way Wal basses sound" thread... without using a crowbar to wedge a Wal-related post into every other thread!
 4.
Any comments guys?
Yep. Love it.
 5. Updated to reflect that I will take care of P&P costs.
 6. I have now fallen in love with a Sandberg Panther 5 String so the ACG Gallus has to go! It is available in the For Sale section at £550. Check out the ad and PM me if you think it is for you. Cheers, Mac

Very High quality (it would cost you £200 just for the pre-amp) this is a lovely bass.. If i had to compare it in looks, think Warwick dolphin..ish. 9. Hi Keen to discuss the ACG. Grateful if you could PM me.
 10.
Out of those two I'd go for the J-type. Only real reason is I don't particularly like the Gallus shape.
I'm with you - but once I start playing the Gallus i don't even notice the shape.
 11. Gallus arrived today. Bit larger than expected (feels a lot like the Overwater Tanglewood Aspiration Elite I used to own) but sits really well on the strap and lap. I think the J Type pips it on looks though. I'm also looking to buy the J Type but the seller doesn't seem to read their PMs. Assuming I'm successful I'll be able to try each for a while and then keep the one that works best for me.
 12.
Bloody hell! Talk about a poacher turned gamekeeper ...
I'm all about the love!
 13. No - but you could try finding it in "Where's Wal-lie?" groan.....
 14. Guys - let's not have a falling out over an argument that very few us of understand (making a big assumption here I know).
 15. Thanks for the heads up. I'll need to check them out.
 16. I'm starting to warm towards the Gallus.
 17.
Neither I wouldn't give either a second glance. They do nothing for me.
I wasn't asking for anything other than A or B. As my old English teacher was fond of saying to the class, "Doesn't matter how good you think you answer is if you fail to answer the question."
 18.

But Guv - I'm innocent I tell ya! I didn't break section 21 of the strange sketch act: causing grievous mental confusion of the great British public. It weren't me. Strike a light, and no mistake!
