I would recommend you the Digitech Bad Monkey
I've just taken delivery of a Badder Monkey (the one with the Humphreys Mod for Bass) *Edit*from the man above, Cheers Dannybouy! You were right! I don't ever wanna switch it off!*/Edit* and it's blown me away! I've got it dialled in with my 'Ray's volume on low and the level boosted, so it sounds normal volume. Now, playing normally it makes the tone slightly grittier with a nice juicy tone and that valve warmth, when i dig in it starts growling beautifully, and snarls fizzes and crackles with glee when i thrash the crap outta my bass It's EPIC!

Hey Alex/everyone! I'm looking to get a smaller/lightweight rig as the 2x15 and 4x10 are doing my back in, and I want something I don't need a Volvo estate to carry around! Which of the Small But Mighty heads do you recommend?
That definitely sounds like <sharp intake of breath> "Think you might have to get one of those made"
Talk to Dave Polglaze (Obbm on here), he's the God of all things bendy and inserty (that's cables in normal speak)! He's got a section in the Affiliates bit, under Bassic-bits, or drop him a line thru Bassic-bits.co.uk...he's a legend!
Tell you what, I'm glad they ruined that with the foul f-hole otherwise I'd have been £210 down. Should've gone for a proper Rick-style cat-eye hole. Still - £189 for a neckthrough Rick-shaped 6? And I'm wondering if someone's been spying on Wizbat's Shukers? J.
Zakly my thoughts! If I'd had 200 notes lying around I'd probably have one to see if it was any good! i mean, 6 string, thru neck, ric shape, cheaper than an unbranded p-bass 4string replica at the local music shop?! it'd have to be a real bushpig to not be a good buy!

completely agree with O.P. I was a tree surgeon for many moons, and I've got several scars on my hands to show how freakin lucky I've been in that subject! I have, however, peeled the flesh from my left middle fingertip (basically my entire fingerprint area) and had to play a gig that night (it was a friday the 13th I believe!) and 'dinked' my left little finger with a chainsaw (it was 'running down' after use, I was wearing gloves, so luckily it only tore thru my fingernail and about 5mm down towards the knuckle so I was damn lucky with that'un!) but when you consider all the handsaws, chainsaws, cherrypickers, strimmers, chippers, hedgecutters, loppers, hydraulic props, etc etc etc that are used, it's lucky to get home still bein able to count to ten!

Life has sh*t on me again, I'm getting evicted on saturday and as such need to get shot of all my gear A.S.A.freakin'P. I can't deliver cos I'm loosing my car too, so it's collection only Hartke 2x15, moves more air than a jumbo jet, rated to 500w, and it's great for reclining against mid gig Never faltered, never let me down, bombproof! [s]£180[/s] [s]£160[/s] [s]£120[/s] £70 I forgot that I'd stencilled the old band logo onto the top, but it's pretty faded and is hidden by an amp
