1.
A snapshot from earlier in the year
What's the orange one?
2. I had that briefly with a new guitarist. I mentioned light heartedly that it sounds a bit heavy metal for what we are playing and luckily he agreed, came back next week with a more acceptable eq setting! Sounds much better. Now I've just got to get him to stop playing the second set on his bloody lead boost channel.
3. There's never a good time for Nickelback.
4. I went to watch a band on Saturday, they played 'Are you gonna go my way' I haven't heard that song for a good while so enjoyed hearing it
5. Digitech Bass Driver overdrive/distortion. Less than a year old and barely used, I bought it as a replacement for one I lost, since got an amp with an overdrive channel so no need for this. very sturdy and versatile little thing. boxed with instructions. welcome to try of course in Huddersfield. would trade for a tuner. Cheers, Matt

7. 400w bass head with loads of actually useful features, the amp models are good and useful for different styles. Built in tuner and Compressor both do the job. Built in fx as well if you're into that, the chorus seems very usable! You can create and save sounds in the memory, ignore the Preset ones; With the eq and the drive you can create some very good noise. Comes with printed off Instructions. only selling as I'm soon to have three amps and that's two too many! £140 posted. Collection can be from Huddersfield or Hipperholme, West Yorkshire. Welcome to try first in Huddersfield. Cheers, Matt <iframe src="https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=D136425C94A5E780&resid=D136425C94A5E780%211206&authkey=AAT96FVpu2OHE8Q" width="320" height="180" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe src="https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=D136425C94A5E780&resid=D136425C94A5E780%211209&authkey=ALSEy07kNCy-3U0" width="320" height="180" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
8. I am the best bass player ever though.... me gran says so
Ah, but they're all "better" than you, so who cares? You're not allowed an opinion. So what you have to do to be allowed an opinion is either a) be a better player than anyone ever or know every detail of their career and output so you're not talking out of your arse - as if knowledge ever stopped people being stupid.
9. For what it's worth, I don't like Jaco's, Mark King's or Geddy Lee's music. Or Billy Sheehan! This list may grow.. I sometimes wonder if I'm even a bass player
10. I find this with a lot of lines I'm trying to learn, get stuck and end up feeling a bit deflated then go back to it after it's had time to sink in mentally and I can usually do a lot better. I need the time to play it in my head first!
11. Sorry for the late reply I've just seen this. I'm in Huddersfield and in a band. I'd be up for meeting to chuck some bass ideas around. Or if you want to come along to my band practice you'd be welcome and could join in a few songs for sure! I'm in Quarmby (near Longwood) and we practice in Jackson Bridge, which is Holmfirth way. Matt
12. Welcome to you and your Attitude! I have the special (with upgrades) myself and wouldn't get rid of it, awesome bass, so responsive and 'hot' You'll enjoy it here.

14. That is spectacular, and a very good review too! They are very close to me and I never knew... scary stuff. Hope you continue to enjoy it.
15. I'm about a month into the wait for my order and starting to struggle, these pictures are really not helping, but they're so prettyyyyyy!
16. I'm going to change the rest of the hardware for black, black and yellow is a good combo in my eyes. Having trouble now though, after messing up the bridge position on the last one I measured from nut to 12th fret finding that was 16.5" so set the bridge at 33" (I think that's correct) Which made it unplayable, I raised the bridge height as much as I could, which wasn't much, but I am wanting to persevere with this Kahler tremolo bridge to get it working properly. Now gradually tweaking the neck relief and will probably raise the nut as well.
17. I tried a few different types for my Stingray and eventually settled on GHS Bass boomers, just sounded right to me.
18. Not worth starting a new thread but I started again on a new body.
