1. Hey Keef, I'm hoping to have a picture to show you in the next couple of days that could be of interest to you!
2. I'm guessing they had a break over Christmas too
3.
Still no word on mine yet, last I asked was it was getting painted and then a setup... Hm, still waiting! I'm an impatient sod, me!
I think we ordered at a similar time (End of Oct for me) bet they're coming on the same shipment next week!
4.
I'm GASing for a P bass and one of these could fit the bill just nicely.... how to decide that's the real question
Blue/maple - Easy! Although the top two look a lot nicer than they have any right to
5. email from Adrian; 'Next Tuesday we make an pallet and your bass is ready, so I get them next week Friday'
6.
Post modern jukebox started as a you tube act but became so popular they had to do a proper tour.
I love them! Looking at going to see them this year
7.
"The rest of the band seemed friendly enough but the bass player had an attitude"
8.
The Overs? Great name for a band. Are you playing in a cricket club?
Haha that could be a great idea! Cricket clubs are usually fun, I would perhaps call the band 'Hit & Run'
9. In my experience when I'm not in a band I barely pick my bass up, I need that incentive of playing with others and gigging to keep playing and improving. I find playing bass on my own is pretty boring, might as well play acoustic guitar

DB5 Feedback

Enjoyed a very pleasant transaction with DB5. He posted me out an Eden cab, arrived on time and is great, very happy with it. Great communication, deal with confidence.
11. yay a picture! Open to offers and take this away from me type bump
12. As an ex- Stingray user I'd say the eq on the guitar is really important. I always rolled off the treble on the guitar, and sometimes found it better to roll them both back to halfway to make it more flat. (On a 2eq)
13. Hiya Marvin, I'm in West Yorkshire, I have the TC bh250 head and a GK backline 600, you're welcome to come try them out if you like? I've used the bh250 for the last year or so and found it perfectly fine, really useful little amp and so light. Got used to having a built in tuner too and the mute switch. Anyway fancied a change as you do and got the GK backline recently, haven't used it enough to give a full opinion, still fiddling, but first impressions I think I prefer the noise it makes. Did intend to keep the bh250 as a spare but will probably move it on as I am currently short on beer tokens.
14.
I always seem to have trouble with Spanish bassists in my bands...
Ha! That's like me and bloody ginger bass players
15.
*coughs* ahem...
Very Nice! Same pickups as I've gone for
16. I used to be in a band that played summer of 69. Back then we were young and restless, we needed to unwind. I guess nothin' can last forever, forever, no! yeah!
17. I don't know how long I've got left but ordered at the end of October, so probably January. It's going to be slightly different from ones I've seen on here so far, based it on an Elwood Absolution body.
18. I saw it, stunner, really would get it if I had the cash.
19. I know, I've used black strings for a while, I have to admit I bought a multi-coloured set as well in a moment of madness. Put them on a bass but almost immediately took them off. Lesson learnt.
20.
It's a home made jobbie. It's a mightymite neck with a one-piece ash body. EMG pickups and preamp - vol, blend, bass, treble. I ran the neck and middle pickups into a mini three-way switch and from that into the blend pot with the bridge pickup on the other side of the blend. It was pretty cheap to make but turned out better than I thought it would.
I think that's brilliant! Good job! I would be tempted to put some black strings on there, extra contrast
