  4. And there’s probably more, and more able competition now
  5. Really impressed with “collection only” from “gb, uk”. That is quite non-specific if you dig into it, it’s in Halesowen (probably)
  6. Get that … understandable
  7. After selling my P I’m left with a vintage est96a stingray clone, and a beaten up six string acoustic rescued by Simo from going to the tip. It cost me £7 for the parts to fix it up chap who bought my P says he has 27 basses. Twenty freaking seven. I only have one and understand scythes are being sharpened as I write this. Why are Amazon suddenly out of stock of both tar and feathers?
  8. Word …
  9. IME a wipe over with white spirit shows what a stain might do
  10. I’d say cloth with white spirit, very good for picking up hidden dust and shows imperfections
  11. I have the active bass shown in yellow/natural Can thoroughly endorse it. It has mellowed to a trans honey colour and punches far above its weight
  12. The way I feel today it’s a 1699 Flounder precision bass lute, with tortoiseshell veneer and a bridge made of armada timber
  13. I found that the signal pin was touching. Rotating it solved the problem
  14. So one could not be c o c k a hoop about anything … or go off “half c. Ked”. It has a wide variety of meanings in everyday use unlike say f cu k
  15. I had one of these with an FSR rosewood neck. Awesome bass
  16. To answer your question, I think it will be when you watch a pub gig and think “.i could have played that gig”
  17. Asking
  18. FTFY
  19. Too trebly.
  20. Ok was going to suggest someone but sounds like it would be too far
  21. Where are you located ?
  22. Yes, just a gentle squeeze is all you need. the buyer of my rolled p bass was highly impressed with the feel of a vanilla neck with a bit of rolling, and he owns a genuine 77 p. He is therefore a conis-sewer
  23. I had this guy come up to my bass last week and play a note and it’s still going - just like in spinal tap . Doesn’t everyone have this thoroughly normal requirement? 🙄
  24. Yes you’re implicated since you’re actually me
  25. I did my maple board with an old screwdriver
