And I just bought (from deaver on here) a German Streamer Standard (pre-Rockbass but Rockbass spec made in Germany) so I could nick the neck off it for my home built Chris Squire Electra copy. It's a nice neck, ovangkol and wenge. I stripped it, levelled and dressed the frets and Briwaxed it. It's come up lovely! Got new tuners and various bits from the Warwick shop. Can't wait to get it all up and running again, it been a year since I parted it out after the Chinese RockBass neck let me down and moved around a lot with temp and humidity changes. Just need an East preamp for it now.

Also bear in mind there are export models (limited range of models, lower spec and cheaper) and non-export models which are very fine instruments on a par with USA Fenders. There are ways to tell them apart.

He too then see's the flyers and thinks here I'll have some of that. Buys 2 tickets one for him and one for his bird. Maybe even talks a few of his mates into going. Goes to the gig buys some drinks and Merch. Now my Non downloading mate has earned Transglobal nothing they have made no profit through him not downloading. He won't buy an album therefore nothing has been gained. My downloading mate has given money to Transglobal. They have earned money from his illegal download (Does this mean they are profiting from crime?) They have sold 2 tickets maybe more if he talks his mates into it , maybe a cut of the bar and of course the Merch. Maybe his mates will buy a CD at the gig. They haven't lost a sale of an Album because he wouldn't have bought it anyway. The first download has planted the seed of a fan. But instead of embracing that person he is treated as a criminal [b]Now can you see how Free downloads can be a good thing for an artist. Nearly 85% of people who check out new music do so on youtube, bands give tracks away for free, pay what you think it's worth for an album on bandcamp, etc. etc. .. I think this may illustrate that, even on a community like Basschat, people would rather talk than listen to music online, even their fellow BC members' music. Off Topic - Average about 25 replies per post. General Discussion - Average about 20 replies per post. Recording - Average about 5 replies per post.
