1. Thanks for the input gents...think i'll give it a miss for the time being at least....maybe when i have a bit more spare change i'll give it a twirl, though the weight issue kinda puts me off.
 2.
Anyone wanna buy my enchanted jock strap for £100 used? It belonged to me.
Do you accept Paypal?
 3. I have one Yes album, The Yes Album and like it very much...but it doesn'y half get me a slagging from my mates.
 4. Well! After escalating the issue to a claim i have heard from the tosser who goes by the name Mariusz Chyla. He was quite upset at having the funds frozen and supplied Paypal with the details of the courier he used on the 11th, 4 days after i paid and a Saturday before a bank holiday Monday, which meant that the bass wasn't collected from the Post Office until the 13th {he used Parcelfarce 48} . I've checked the tracking number and it's being held at the Perth depot. When i asked him why he hadn't responded to my messages through ebay he denied receiving them...funny that...Paypal seem to have received them without any trouble. Now we'll see how he likes being kept waiting for something, as i wont be ending the claim until the bass is safely in my hands and that wont be until Tuesday. A seller to avoid at all costs...i can't believe that he thought it was fine to just send the bass without me letting know...some people are such w***ers.

 6.
You'd think that with £500 coming into your account that it'd be in the forefront of your mind. I don't know why but that description would have got alarm bells ringing for me.
I'm assuming the guy is Polish and English is his second language...it seems from his feedback that he's sold a few guitars previously. As i said, he may have gone back to Pole-land for his hols over Easter...Easter is big in Poland...but he could have stated as much if that's the case...
 7. Bought a Sandberg Basic 4 using buy it now and Paypal on the 7th of this month from a seller on Ebay going by the username of chylamariusz88 and have yet to receive any response to my messages... or the bass. Now i realise that the seller may have gone on holiday or be ill but i'm really beginning to get f***ed off by his lack of response. If he has gone on holiday, which i hope he's bloody enjoying if he has, he might have stated as such in his ad...of course it may be that he's ripped me off or had his account hijacked in which case i can only wait on Paypal giving me refund...i've opened a dispute but have yet to escalate. Has anyone else had to wait this long for a reply from a seller? Or am i up sh*t creek without a bass? 8. While i love listening to music and playing it, i have to say that i would never dream of having a band practice in my house and am amazed at some of the comments coming from people about how the neighbour should have approached you before going to the council and how they're some sort of anti-noise extremists with no lives because they want some peace and quiet when they're in their home...why should the complainer have to approach the noise maker? It should be bloody obvious to the poster that someone was gonna get pissed off eventually...i mean a whole band in an unsoundproofed living room? c'mon! no wonder they didn't bother approaching you, did you bother approaching any of them before you decided to have practice sessions in your house? Everyone should be entitled to live in peace and quiet in their own home without some selfish person making their life hell...
 9.
for a 18 year old bass, its in remarkably good nick and a bargain price. Why is this still for sale?
Cos he wont post?
 10. Looks like he put the decimal point just a wee bit too far to the right.
 11. I was 45 in March....but it still look hot ....Dad? if you're up there reading Basschat, which is unlikely i must admit, thanks for not making me do a paper round.

 13.
If this had come up a week earlier .. That looks amazing.
...ha! just my luck Reducing the asking price to £375 posted.
 14. Got this lovely bass in a trade with another member and while i'm really impressed by it's quality and playability...the sound is, once again, too modern for me. It's an cort Artisan Ltd which originally retailed for around the £700 mark. Body is mahogany, neck is 5 piece maple/wenge i think with brass nut, Pre amp is by Fishman and pups are Bartolini MK1, Hipshot tuners and bridge in Nickel finish. Bass is in very good condition with only some light dents on the end of the body...shown in pics. Asking £355 posted...was £375. Payment by Bank Transfer only. Trades considered
 15.
Think Schnozzalee has some damn nice Corts for sale/trade
I traded one of my basses for an Artisan Ltd 4 string fretless he had....lovely looking and very well made bass and yes, the neck is something to behold, but a bit to modern and dare i say, exuberant for me , so if anyone's interested drop me a PM.
 16. Just bought my self another bass and have decided to move this one on. It's a parts bass consisting of the following: Fender American deluxe jazz body in Oly White with an Allparts block and bound maple neck, fitted with Hipshot tuners and a Hipshot D-tuner, Schaller strap locks also fitted. Pups are Seymour Duncans, bridge is Bad AssII with precut saddles. Also fitted with a Varitone control plate and side mounted jack...plate has switch to bypass varitone plate. Body itself was originally thru body stringing but i had to move the bridge back on the body to achieve intonation as the AmDlx jazz bass is fitted with a 22 fret neck and the Allparts neck is only 20 frets, this means that although the thru body holes can be seen on the back of the bass, they cant be used...ferrules are still in place so it all looks pretty tidy. Body itself is unmarked but neck has some marks on binding where it looks like someone has dressed the frets...the frets themselves have plenty of life left in them Asking £350 posted...payment by Bank Transfer only. Will post more detailed pics tomorrow.
 17.
Haha! I like Bongos, too! I've always thought that the current Bison looks like a really cool alternative to a Precision - Especially in white with the gold hardware
I actually love the looks too...but the white one is too tarty looking for me, the gold hardware kinda puts me off...would either be a black one or red one if i take the plunge...it's as an alternative to a Precision that i'm considering it. Suppose that i can always sell it if it i don't like it...at a loss if my past impulse buys are anything to go by
 18.
Is the Charvel still for sale?
Sorry but i've traded the bass.
 19. As per the the thread title. Anyone out there tried a Korean Burns Bison? I have a hankering for one at the moment...notice i didn't say 'gassing'...i'm in denial
 20.
Is that true? Does he really have dirty hands. The filthy beast.
See, you must have thought that he said 'covered in funk'...
 21.
It's causing some consternation over at Rickresource, where absolutely no-one has a clue who Zender is: J.
Doesn't take much to cause consternation over there though As for not knowing who Stuart Zender is being an issue, well, i know who he is and don't think that much of him either, he certainly doesn't make the bass more valuable in my eyes if i was buying it i'd have to factor in the cost of having it disinfected.
