1. My fave is 'Time out of Mind' - live 2006 with Freddie Washington on bass - a lesson in nailing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeaHeXVx3CE
2.
Nice board. Like it alot. How are you finding the Synth? I'm loving it!
Cheers ! Absolutely love the synth too - really works well mixed in with distortions for crazed phat moog-isms !!!
3. Sonic jumble... ....>>>>pedaltrain II > ebs multicomp > mxr envelope filter > markbass synth > ebs wah one > mxr rio grande > ehx big muff pi > pw tuner > aguilar tone hammer > trex chameleon >>>>>....
4.
Hi guys. Pains to to do this but I may have to sell my 1979 Pre-EB Ray. Its in really good condition, only a few dings and none of them major. The E tuner was replaced a while ago with a d-tuner but apart from that it's all original- even has the dying remains of the bridge mutes! I was wondering if any of you could help me in thinking of a price? Josh
I've played this - class and it honestly blows newer MM stuff away - with a neck to die for ! Don't sell it Josh !!!!
5. I seem to recall that the synth line on Thriller was a Moog Taurus - someone may correct me...
6. Bump with pic added !
7. 2008 Eden WT550 Traveler (facelift model). Comes with a perfect fitting Gigskinz case (this is worth about £50+ itself), rack ears - no bolts. No issues - this is now a back-up, and an extravagant back-up at that. UK sale only - I'd prefer collection/meet up !
8.
I've seen and played it and its lubberly Wish I could get away with it in my band haha
Cheers Josh ! Pics now on edited post above !
9.
Do you have any pics mxm?
Sorry, the ones I've already got are useless so I'll take some new tomorrow !
10.
Any lefties looking to part with a 6 string/Fender MIA(or MIJ)sunburst rosewood Pbass please hit me up K
Apologies for my ignorance - does this model exist ?!!!
11. Great Player.
12. I've got one of these... http://uk.line6.com/podstudiokb37/ ...sitting doing nothing - and has hardly ever been used. Can provide pics etc - will come boxed as new with all inserts etc. Anyone interested - £180 / offers ?
13. 2 Basses and 2 amps. I'm not being over-cautious, it's just based on my experience. I've had jack sockets disintegrate and amps die on me, usually in the middle of nowhere. Much of my previous gear has been elderly/secondhand...
14. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Left-Handed-Fender-J...=item2a08c9b801 '....standard mexican Fender Jazz Bass Guitar in arctic white ...and when i bought it new it cost me nearly £800.' Serves you right for picking it up in Aberdeen using your 7 litre Cadillac.
15. I used to own a Hofner Ignition (c.£200 model) it weighed next to nothing, sounded right and played fine. But the bass always felt very brittle, not terribly substantial. Therefore I never really gigged it, thinking maybe it's just a personal thing as I usually abuse 70's Fenders. Eventually, I managed to compare mine with a friends' Contemporary (c.£500) model and the build quality was evident - more robust all round, better paint job, seemingly better parts etc. I can't help but feel that if I'd have paid a little more I'd still own one...
16. The Warwick Rockbag one is passable - mines about 4 years old and is hanging on in there !
17. Final bump before it hits the 'bay...
18. Sunday morning bump and new pics...
19. As Jimbo and Ned would say it's time to 'thin out their numbers'.... Anyone interested in a mint, less than 6 month old Hofner Violin 500/1 bass - HI series (Ignition) ??!!! It still has the protective plastic film on the pick-ups and I have only used it on three occasions I can recall. Initially looking for £200 ono collected as there is no case. May well Ebay as of Monday... More pics available and anyone is welcome to try in person etc - I'm based nr. Chester. Even though I'm trying to thin out the herd I would possibly be interested in a px for a fretless Fender jazz...ta !
20. This may be of interest... http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f146/larr...highlight=larry
21. Hiya, Finally decided this is to go - I've not used it in anger for over 12 months. Bought new over 2 years ago. It has been gigged, it is in great condition (boxed all bits included) other than a bit of print flaking off and damage to the PSU cable - repaired with lx tape. I have looked after it ! http://uk.line6.com/podx3live/ Offers around £230 (plus postage), will throw in a Gator X3 case if someone collects ! Ta.
22. Geordie Leech Neil Corcoran Norm 'Nard Plonk Larry G ...and way too many others.
23. I so want one of these left handed of course....
24. I'm gutted that I can't make this - if only he'd be doing further gigs a bit closer to me - not often you get the chance to see a proper legend ! Anyone who is going - please give us a review !
