1.
an idea folks- i have a two month old markbass 2x10 travellor cab- 8ohm 400w- not been outside my house yet but rather fancy a combo and this would go with my other 1x15 cab- so if anyone has something they want to trade with me for this that rasta is after then maybe we could have a three way trade?.... just a thought....
Good idea mate. PM's replied, still up for trades/sale
 2. I/we love bass...... i personally love playing 3-4 notes of a real phat speaker rumbling belly popping dub that warbles a riddim that hypnotises the audience (oh...and the band) and nobody knows what it is that's gripping them and holding them together....that is until it drops out...then the riddim comes back in...that be the bass that gets ya together again and rinse up the pum pum. And well.... i equally love the fact that the likes of the mighty Jaco, Bootsy etc have taken the bass out there to space and back again...there is plenty of room for bass in space (there are no walls behind the sky )....dig - thanks god people get out there to space (talented!)...i wish i was an astronaut and not a space cadet (maybe practice) - I'll stick with my earthy 3-4 notes....that's my love and happy medium after all. As a random afterthought didn't that Whitened Stripes band have no bass player?...yet there biggest tune was that one with the b-line...go figure. Bass falls on those who feel it...he who knows it feels it...amen & more wine, one love

 6.
Awesome combo, sounds like something four times the size and twice the price. Easy(ish) one hand carry as well
thanks Beedster, yes it is indeed a great combo!
Out of interest, is this the LM2 or LM3 amp inside?
I believe its the LM2 head
 7. What ohmage are the speakers in a Eden 210XLT 8ohm ?
 8. I think my most surreal moment is having got on stage at a festival gig, ready to go on, viewing the world through spiral eyes after much local cider & stuff, sound checked my vibes and k'bang...wrong band.....oops....we were on in another hour and i realised this was not my band...needless to say their bassist had the fear and the rest of the band egged me to stay on...i knew that was the moment i needed a lot of water or something to sober oneself and go hide myself, change my appearance, repent etc etc!
 9. I've got a lovely Markbass Jeff Berlin combo-very light & loud but have recently got some Ashdown cabs at a bargain price so i plan to use the Jeff Berlin head (LMII) with the ashdowns or i've got an old Eden WT800A which i'm becoming rather fond of again.
 10. Great bass.....i love my 79 Ray that i recently got! Good look with the sale mate
 11. I'm quite partial to Lindy Fralins personally...although i'd like to try some Villex one day
 12.
inadvertant bowel surgery
Now your talking my language, what set up is this then?
 13. Swap for 2x10 also
 14.
Your 8ohm 4x10 and a 16ohm 2x10 will give you 5.3 ohms I think, the same as a 6x10 cab which seem to be nominally labelled at 6 ohms. according to Eden this is ok with a WT800A.
Ah cool, i used to run a 6ohm Warwick 6x10 into the Eden and thats when it was at its best for headroom. right 2x10 hunt its...quite fancy an Eden actually.
 15.
I use a WT800A bridged into an 8 ohm Eden410XLT and a 16 ohm Eden210XLT (which i bought as a 4ohm cab and rewired) so in effect I have a 6x10 cab with all drivers getting an equal amount of juice, this works really well and I can just use the 410 if I need to. doesn't really help with your 1x15 though I suppose, but it is loud! Dave
Thankls for the replies guys...yeah i think ditch the 15" and get and 2x10 4ohm and wire to 16ohm...i guess that will give me 8ohms right? 'Your two cabs in parallel (daisy chained) together give you 4-ohms so you could put another 4-ohm cab in series (you need a special cable for this)' Where would i get series cables? Lx
 16. PM's replied, still up for grabs.
 17. Ok here goes, I have two Ashdown Mag cabs a 15" & 4x10", both 8ohms. I have an Eden WT800A with a bridged output running 800Watts at 8ohms. Now i know when i link the two Ashdown cabs together i get 4ohms but i need to somehow get 8ohms . Now i want to use both cabs as i need at least 500W with head room on stage (yes i know its bloody loud but i'm playing with some reggae guys where bass is everything + they/we have a monster soundsystem which the drummer puts his Roland TD20 through...and is quite possibly the loudest electronic drummer i've ever played with-turning down is not an option!). So can i get 8ohms doing some weird and wonderful wiring, if so how? Could i add another cab, say a 2x10 and magic a total impedance of 8ohms from somewhere? I can even goto 6ohms if needs be coming in on the Eden but unfortunately not as low as 4ohms. Eden unfortunately no longer do the tech mod on these amps that they were offering many moons ago whcih converted the bridge out put from 8ohms @ 800W to 4ohms @ 1200....if anyone has info on this mod i'd like to hear. Also if i put a multimeter, on resistance, across a speaker would it show the ohmage of that speaker i.e 8ohms or 4 ohms etc...actually i think that's a silly question as it impedance right? Help the dyslexic electronics people here...even though ironically i studied electronics at 17 but slept most the time
 18. I can confirm it is a Model number TRV 151 P but definitely the Traveler model. It maybe an older model as the TRV 151P i just looked up on the net looked different? On mine the carry handle is on top and tweeter control on the side, very light, great sound and clear sound.......brilliant in fact-only sellin g as i have a 4x10 & 15" to collect this weekend! It stacks on my Jeff berlin Combo so has the same footprint. Great cab for the money!
 19. Bump for cash sale £250+P&P

 23.
Roads lead everywhere
Yeah would love to come to some arrangement to meet however a 8.5 month pregnant Mrs Rasta dictates otherwise, not sure she's up for a 5 minute drive let alone 6hours from Devon. Have a bump anyhow...bumps seems to be a big factor in my life at the mo! :brow:
