2. > Lee - as the headstock picture shows it's US10 followed by 6 numbers, which, according to the Fender website, dates it after March 2010... SERIAL NUMBERS US10 + 6 digits (beginning in about March 2010)
3. ...and another bump.
4. Ta for the endorsement Mr Stones ;-)

Sale only, no trades. Thomman are selling these around the £1400+ mark, £1500+ at Guitarguitar so I'm thinking [s]£900[/s] £850 sounds reasonable? Bound rosewood fretboard with block inlays. 3 tone sunburst with black scratch plate = delicious. A small scratch on the back (presumably from a belt buckle), otherwise in great condition and comes with the original Fender case and all the case candy. 7. Just bought a Tanglewood Jumbo acoustic from Tom - painless transaction and a true gent - highest recommendation should you be lucky enough to buy from him. cheers Tom, ShaunB
8. ...we call him "Little Mark" so he now looks better with smaller ears ;-)
9. If you go to the link I placed above, there's a pdf you can download/peruse to show you how to wire/control the preamp - although I'm pretty sure the whole idea for the P-Retro is the single/split P-type pick-up. Hope that helps, Shaun
10. Hey Chris, All great around these 'ere parts - hope you and yours are good too. 'Tis truly a great preamp, but no bites at the cherry as yet... cheers SB
11. SOLD I do prefer a Jazz bass, so here's my very little used P-Retro with the chrome vintage knobs for sale - £150.00 shipped - cost £195.00 new in January, so still has plenty of warranty. This is the new version with screw connectors (no soldering) and a rechargeable battery with a jack directly through the jack socket on the bass... and a natty little LED that tells you when the battery is charged. Info here <link> ...any other info, ask away. cheersShaun
12. ...won't ever use 'em so [s]£15.00[/s] £12.00 shipped within the good 'ole UK.
13. Yet another gentleman is Oli - traded my Sandberg for his Jazz Deluxe in a "car park" deal. Very happy. Must remember not to take the missus next time - too many good looking bass players around these parts!
14. Weekend bumperooney
15. ...and to the top, Kemosabe!
16. > chuck - yes and PM'd
17. monsterbassman > Just had a nightmare (selling a mixing desk and case through here) with MyHermes - (Parcel2Go) - they managed to actually crack and hole the ABS case, shear off and break the front hinges - and all this inside a thick cardboard box - but have to say after much to-ing and fro-ing Parcel2Go did pay up as I had insured it... so that's a "no" for MyHermes. No interest in a P-bass, ta. Good luck, SB
18. Back from hols and this from Sandberg: (asked for confirmation) california VM4, 2013 zebra voodoo finish, made in germany european ash body rosewood fingerboard sandberg pickups, glockenklang preamp
19. Harumpety-bump!
20. Up for sale or trade is this Sandberg VM custom (July 2013). It has an awesome zebrano body, rosewood fingerboard, Delano P/H pickups. Mint condition, supremely well made bass. I received it in a previous trade, but it isn't my cuppa tea. From Sandberg: <link> Trade-wise (which I'd prefer) I'm looking for something Jazz-ish, 4 string. Da pics:
