Now only for sale within the UK. This, sadly, sits in a corner pining for a new home. I have had it for at least 15 years and I am led to believe it's an 80s bass (?). I think it's a fair price - anybody has a clue, do tell. In good condition for its age with a couple of scratches on the front (hardly noticeable), a bit of buckle rash (not serious) on the back and one small ding as shown in the pic. It has some sticker glue residue under the lower horn (technical name ;-) ) - I don't have anything to remove it at the mo. Neck is fine and I have thrown away the 93 year old strings an put on some black 'uns - which is nice. Passive bass, would make a nice starter. Sorry about the dust - I gave it a quick once over but it needs some TLC... Any questions, ask away. Price is plus p+p.

The Parker case it came in is as good as the (semi) soft cases out there - will update on the Hiscox when I get down to Absolute...

...and, indeed, Hiscox do make an oversized bass case - ta muchly for the heads-up :-)
I say old chap, unless we are from the States, we take it to our local music shop
Well, I'm Canadian, eh? So, right continent, wrong country, but living here now, so I'll crank up the Bentley and drive down to Absolute, where they'll look at me like I'm an alien... they'll probably be having a "Bring or Take" sale... ;-)

I've checked the Gator cases - they are the same Non-formed inner - (can't find an inner dimension size for the TGI) and they all seem to be 13.63" (34.6cm) which is a smidge too narrow :-(
-
I'm looking for a hard case for my Parker Fly - it won't fit a standard Fender case or my Gator "generic" case - needs to have a wider inner cut-away - ideas? Know anywhere to get one? I've posted this on Items Wanted as well... cheers Shaun

[s]£450.00[/s] ...how's £425? (including shipping to mainland UK) Not using this any more as my Compact is more than enough. Really only using for rehearsals and the Compact is not much bigger - so it has to go... **includes Roqsolid cover ** I have replaced the chrome corners with the stackable, non-slippy type and sealed any screw holes (per Alex) Go on... you know you want to :-) Any questions, ask away... *SOLD* Precision P Bass Guitar Neck

They were fitted to a '62 replica p-bass (luthier-build) that I bought a while back - not realising the neck was going to go "banana" - so I'm not sure what they are, but I'm assuming they were a good set as the bass was valued at £800. They work as they should. You can see 'em in situ: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/90374-steed-basses-build-thread/ Hope that helps. -
I just bought this off ebay (£74.99) for a project which is now in the *ahem* bin... Perfect, unused condition, but now loaded with tuners. BUT - the neck is now pre-drilled so would need filling and re-drilling for your project. Also, a couple of tuner screws missing. Any questions, ask away...
