1. http://muse.mu/images/official/photo/44526/ Didn't know he used a Prunes & Custard, also a sh*tload of Way Huge pedals in there and a couple of Zvex. Is that an EHX octaver next to Line 6? And what's that checkered one beneath the Line 6?
2. Bought a Catalinbread SFT from Greg, great guy to deal with, absolutely mint condition as described, recommended!
3. The MXR Super Comp seems to be good for both. The bassist in Helmet told me he uses it.
4. The power draw of the M5 is just under 400 ma and the highest your power supply can deliver is 200 in an output, so that's not gonna work. Daisy chaining it causes noise and no isolator out there lets 400 ma through either. This is probably the most elegant solution you can get: http://www.voodoolab.com/pedalpower_digital.htm
5. M80 sold.
6. Can we see pictures?
7. In my opinion the M80's distortion sounds good at settings of less than 50% wet and gain, just to add a little grit and boost to your clean tone, I see that as its real purpose and use. I wouldn't use it as a proper high gain distortion, tried many times as it would be great to save space on my board but always went back to something else.
8. Hmm, MarloweDK's name does come up a lot. I'll start there and then check the others you suggested, thanks for the pointers.
9. So after many years neglecting slap technique I've decided to dedicate sometime to it as I'll be between bands soon... Not something I care much about for my own style but I figured I should be able to effortlessly do some cool licks here and there just to impress the easily impressionable... So, what should I look into? I'd like some proper structured programme, like a book with a DVD or CD, or something like that. Or suggest me the best guy doing free videos on youtube or something... Basically, save me the search and point me straight to the top quality resources Thanks
10. M80 now £80 shipped, not going lower than this.
11. Agro and Octamizer sold.
12. Agro and Octamizer sold pending payment.
13. Nah... Not my style of distortion unfortunately...
14. Bought an Octamizer from Mick, very well packed and mint as described, thanks.
15. Bought an Agro from Chris, well packed and shipped quickly, all good, thanks.
16. Aguilar Agro and Octamizer added!
17.
Quick and dirty Might try putting the Jackhammer in front of the Sansamp again.. also awaiting delivery of a Stageclix Jack!
I like that, good thoughtful choice of what not to replace with the B3.
18. M80 now down to £85 shipped. Mint and boxed.
19. Bought my Microsynth, great guy, all smooth.
20. I'll take it. PM'ing.
21.
Basically if you're ever going to be plugging a passive bass straight in, you want an active DI. Otherwise get a passive one
This interests me as well, why is that? My main bass is active but my spare bass is passive, so what should I get that will also handle the passive bass well when needed?
22.
maybe they're run by ex-software developers ?
LOL, that's funny because as I wrote that I thought I sounded like I was complaining about a console game
23. Dunlop will send you the battery cover for free if you email them, I asked once and got 2 covers + a bag of picks.
