1. I have added a YouTube video I just made about this wonderful bass.
2. There are two kind of YouTube bass videos: Those showing the hands and the bass, head cut. And those showing the guy. Bass cut.
3. This one looks pretty familiar to me. Got it from a player in Germany? Very very nice bass by the way.
4. I had a BBNE2 that was exactly 4.7 kg.
5. Hello BassChat.co.uk! I've been reading in this forum for at least two years now and really enjoy it. I am frequently going through the "basses for sale"-section as I am always interested in what's going on out there! I am 37 years old, live 50 km south of Munich and am playing bass for about 20 years now. My favorite styles are Blues, Bluesrock, a bit of Jazz and (still) the more progressive kind of Rock (sometimes Progressive Metal). I have a band playing modern Bluesrock and do join Blues-Sessions as often as possible. I am kind of obsessed with Music Man instruments and am currently proud owner of a Big Al5 (SSS, RW, Pearl Blue) and a very nice StingRay5 (H, MN, Black Cherry Burst). I really hope to get my fingers on a Classic Sabre (one of the new generation) during the next month. Again, hello and all the best to you bass-players out there. Happy to be here.
6. I am definetly not a Jazz Bass Guy, but Geddy Lee's tone is absolutely great. As far as I know he uses Tech21 RPI and Orange-Amps. Not to forget his unique right hand one finger technique.
7. Thank you and thanks for the PM. It's such a nice bass but I am currently struggling (again) with heavy Music Man GAS Have a free bump!
8. Hi there, here'a full picture of my Big Al 5 in Blue Pearl. I really love its versatility. My favourite sound option is currently middle plus rear coil in serial mode.
9. Up for sale/trade is this beautiful Carvin SB5000 Jazzbass. Built in October/November 2013. I am the first owner. Comes with an unused G&C Hardshell Case. Specs: One-Piece Ashbody, ca. 4.5 kg, Translucent Cherry Burst, Maple neck with beautiful Birds-Eye-Maple fretboard, Mother of Pearl Block-Inlays, Massive String-Through-Body Bridge, 18 V Preamp (active/passive) with passive toneblend (working in active mode), bass and treble (stacked). Mint-condition, no dings or dongs. Only played at a few rehearsals and one gig. I am living south of Munich, Germany. Shipping to EU/UK is no problem. Please contact me should you have any questions. 10. Wonderful bass. Would you consider shipping to Germany (Shipping costs covered by buyer)?
11. I bought a very nice Sterling 4 HH in Pacific Blue Burst from Pete. Excellent condition, exactly as described. Pete is very responsive to emails and thus the transaction was no big deal at all. The bass was superbly packed for shipping to Germany. Thanks again and Servus!
