    I have to admit that it took me a while to understand EBMM's list, published in the forum. I even only recognized that the Classic Sabre is discontinued when A.J. from the Customer Service confirmed this in a post. What a shame. I was seriously hoping they would offer a 5-string version of that bass one day. Speaking about the colours: I am not sure what it's like in the UK but in Germany it seems the colours ordered (from the stores/the distributor) are only Black, Steath Black (argh!), Sapphire Black (obviously the most common), Honeyburst and Vintage Burst for the Classic StingRays. Some stores have had PDN instruments in stock like the Emerald Green Sparkle, Neptune Blue, etc. But what I rarely saw Natural, Black Cherry Burst, Pacific Blueburst, Tangerine, etc. So, the overall picture in German (internet) stores will not change significantly. I only hope that there will be new colours and perhaps another order/configuration mode for the instruments. And perhaps one new bass model for 2016?

    I am based in Weilheim, Oberbayern - 50 km south of Munich. As mentioned insured shipping to UK is no problem, did this a couple of times before (e.g. another Bongo and a StingRay 5).

    Obviously the Bongo sells better than the Big Al did. Even though I do not really think the Bongo is a big seller (looking at the big US internet stores, there are only a few in stock if any at all). But the Bongo has always been Big Poppa's masterpiece and darling (thanks so much!!!), so I think it will not be discontinued until he retires. The same might apply to the Gamechanger, that will obviously be continued. (I do not think they have sold more than 100 of those basses world wide, but you never know!). I am so curious to see what comes next. Obviously there are already two new guitar models underway.     Be quick! The Reflex line will be discontinued by 31 Oct this year. So this model's value might raise during the next years! Incredible bass by the way!

    Just read at the EBMM Forum: Music Man is going to discontinue a whole bunch of colours and models from 31 Oct. on. Among the cuts is the whole Reflex and Big Al line - what makes me in particular very sad. The Classic Sabre will only be available in 4 colours. And it seems that most (if not all) piezzo modells are discontinued. The bass is from a limited "all rosewood neck" run in 2014 (according to EB customer service completed on 29 Jan 2014). The oil/wax finish on the back of the rosewood neck feels and plays like a dream. I am only letting go this beauty because I could not resist to order the same model from this year's Music Man PDN edition. Thus, please do not offer any trades. The bass is in a very good condition and has only two little dents: one on the upper shaping of the body and the "usual Bongo dings" on the tip of the headstock (refer to images).     Music Man Bongo HH (two Humbucker). Has a 4 band EQ on board an can do it all. I currently play a Sterling HH in my Cover band and can do it all with tweaking the 3 band EQ, too. But it is more agressive as compared to the Bongo.

    I am looking to sell this beauty in absolute mint condition. The bass is very unique regarding the number of tonal options: The PUs (2 Neodymium "Single Coils" - hum canceling, 1 Ceramic Humbucker) can be combined in any possible way by either being switched on/off. The bridge humbucker can be run in parallel or serial model. 4-Band EQ (Bass, Treble, High Mids, Low Mids) and passive mode with passive tone blend. Maple fretboard with MOP inlays. Wonderful quilted maple top in Venecian Red with cream binding. Ultra Light Weight tuners. Weight is 4.55 kg. The bass is in pristine condition and did not see many rehearsals or gigs.     What's it DOB? I can not read the S/N from the picture. I actually want to know whether it has ALNICO or CERAMIC PUs. If you could post the S/N here I could check on Musicman.org. Thanks.
