Personally I have been impressed by how receptive audiences and festivals are in redefining who can be a “rock” or “pop” star. Not that long ago they were predominantly skinny, under 30 and generally male. There is far more diversity now which has to be a good thing. The only concern is whether younger artists get to break through what appears to be a glass ceiling to getting more lucrative slots and tours.

Ebay has a far greater reach than basschat so you are far more likely to get a sale. However you do have to deal with tyre kickers, total fantasists, people that can’t read basic descriptions and then get totally mugged off by ebay fees. Place of last resort for me.

CNC made instruments only become really cheap when they are made in volume. I expect these are very limited runs as I have never seen one for sale in a music shop, online or being played live ever. Until this thread I had no idea they existed.
