1. hi, is this an active model?
2. very, very weird and ultimately pointless. why not put all 5 strings on one neck 0r have fretted and fretless necks. extremely strange but have a novelty bump!!
3. Would like to trade - plus cash my way -my Markbass Mini Combo CMD 151 - (http://www.gak.co.uk...-cmd-151-p/4272) for a Markbass NY151 cabinet. I'm not interested in ANY other cab. it's basically a NY151 cab with a combo amp (same as LMII) fitted. 6 years old but in great nick. sounds immense but I really want to have the amp separate to use with other cabs for different situations.. unfortunately, the removable combo amp does not have a top/lid when its out so...looking to change for a separate amp - Little Mark II or III or LMTube- plus cab. trade value on the combo around £600 - they are £975 new if you can find them. so, anyone....?? 7. Never had a JB bass but have had two P basses that were customised by him - both by previous owners to me. first up a 1959 P that had a JB birds eye maple board fitted. fantastic board - devalued the bass but, I'm a player not a collector. Got rid of this around 1995 . next, a 1964 P that had a JB stereo pick up and controls in it - I got it in a pretty bad state and the JB pre-amp and pots had disappeared - this bass had many mods over the years including,at one time, a bass Gizmotron on it!!! Gave local luthier Brian Eastwood a stripped down body, neck and box of bits and he restored it to near original state. all original bar refinish, pu guard and knobs. Brian used the PU on one of his projects. photo shows JB PU in situ near bridge .

9. still for sale - open to offers and PX
10. here are my Warwicks - quite simply the finest, growliest, most versatile and dream to play basses I have ever owned. first up - the daddy: Thumb NT5 1990 - had it 18 years now and second owner. will have to prise this one from my dead hands!!! next: Thumb NT4 1988 - bought from a guy in Italy around 8 years ago. he'd de-fretted it and had, at one time, had a chunky bridge on it so, it's been routed out. original 2 piece bridge on it now and fitted with EMGs so it's a beast!! ps: it's been waxed since this pic was taken! finally, this one never leaves the house, I just cant play it so, it's immaculate. its another Thumb NT4 - made in 2005 (I think). I'll let the photos do the talking:
11. mwahhh bump
12. no offers for this beautiful low action dream to play freless acoustic???
13.
The serial number is D 1303 not D 130! It is however one of those nice enigmatic 'transition' basses that retains the early sculpted headstock and tuning post grommets but with the later 2 piece bridge.
my 1988 NT4 has the same headstock etc and 2 piece bridge but has the date stamped into the headstock below the serial number - so does my 1990. nice bass.
