  1. Sigh, if only Liverpool was closer to Epping I would be there in a heartbeat. Anyhoo... YNWL

  3. Yeah - Guy Morel at @Ashdown Engineering is the 'Guv for sure!
  4. Where are you based? Edit: never mind - small screen doesn't help
  5. Ah - no blend? How odd... although for a MM or other single pup bass it makes sense. I see from the diagram you have taken pics of, that there is the option to wire in a 2nd V pot The investigation continues
  6. Ah - so there is a stacked pot in there - I didn't see that - I guess that would work as 4 and I could route the push/pull to a toggle? OK - I am trying to flog pedals - I will be in touch - many thanks for the info.
  7. Hi there Very keen - what is the current pot config please? I would like to set up V/V with the 3 tone pots - is that doable with this "rig"? Kind regards, Julian
  8. Received and responded

  11. Hi all, I am looking at upgrading my Yamaha BBG5 with pickups and an EQ. there are lots and lots of makers that I could buy from, but I am looking at a company that sells a pickup & EQ package. A box with the whole enchilada. Does such a company exist? Thanks, as ever, my brethren
  12. Fantastic BBE drive clone. Sadly, I have to sell to fund life in COVID '20 Bass, Treble, Drive, Blend and Volume - works like a dream, from creamy subtle tube-like warmth to a touch of the ol' Lemmy (or something like that ) Good condition. No box. Priced to go quickly - Price excl. of P&P to mainland UK 1st class = £3.70 | Signed 1st class = £4.70

  16. @Maxillius: waiting on your response mate?
  17. This was my main strap for a long, long time - but now no longer used enough (thanks CV19!!!!) So comfortable, so funky! The "eye" is a great talking point 😝. I can't find a link to this as it's no longer manufactured that I can see, but this European company has it listed at €127.60 < so this is a steal (and price included P&P to the UK) Lots of wear, as you will see in the pics, but man, this is an awesome strap and a great price (nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Say no more! Say no more!)
  18. NOW £20 incl. P&P to mainland UK Great strap - just superfluous to requirements. Obvious wear because it's been used, but in perfectly acceptable condition for the next umpteen years. The tag (which would otherwise identify the "model") has been torn off (no idea how) but it's the one in the link. (2" or 51mm wide by 52" or 1,321mm long) Levys Leather Brown Suede 2" Strap
  19. How is no one snapping this up??????
  20. Y'know, I always thought EMGs were the sole domain of "metal" bass players - hence me staying away (only cos I am not a metal bass player, not cos I don't enjoy metal)... but after discovering that one Victor Wooten and one Henrik Linder play EMGs, I have looked a little more closely... that is a great reminder to check them out! Now... in the UK (I have only been 'here' for a year), where is the best place to get EMGs? Thanks @gary mac
