1. I would be very cautious in these kind of situations. The vintage and rare shop in Bath had an original Entwistle Jazz bass in stock for sale of course. It was from his collection and was considered to have been in since around mid 70's and was being offered at 34k or there abouts poss two years ago?? It was featured in a book called "Bass Culture - The John Entwistle Collection". so had some documentary historical evidence of sorts. Of course you could take a punt at a couple of hundred quid on the bass and who knows, you could be in possession of a more valuable instrument, who knows....??
 2. Just received today a 2u rack case from Marc, hand delivered and not even sure my funds cleared in his account yet. Top bloke to deal with, and i echo all of the above comments. Cheers, Nice one !! Steve

 5.
I'm really not sure what to do, should I just try to find a local tech to take the poweramp to? Or just wait to see what paypal do? No amp means no band practice, I could just get a new poweramp in the meantime, like the Samson servo 600 (anyone know if that is okay?), but I am really worried about getting new stuff now that I've had a rubbish experience (and I'm pretty skint this month!). Hoping to borrow something for a gig I have tomorrow from other bands playing it. And to make it all worse, my backup amp died the other day, so now have to rush to try to get that fixed under warranty whereas I thought I would be able to take my time (sure it'll take a while anyway), but the shop it's from have always seemed good and Korg who do the distro said they would get it picked up etc.
Take the advice from JTUK and go the ebay route first and get a possible return with the seller
 6.
Hey all, I've got some pedals I'm looking to sell. I've not taken any pics, but can do if anyone is interested. I can also do sound samples. Hughes & Kettner Warp Pedal - Incredible metal distortion, capable of serious bass. Comes with power supply. Tech 21 Tri-OD - 3 Sansamp Distortion/Overdrives/Amp models in one box. You get Tweed (Fenderish), Calif (Mesaish) and British (Marshallish) sounds. The pedal also has very flexible active bass and treble controls. It is great into an amp, or into a PA/Recording equipment. Danelectro Pastrami Overdrive - Its ok, better than you'd think!. Alesis ModFX Smashup - Very flexible/weird compressor, can really do a huge range of sounds. Includes power supply Alesis ModFX Ampliton - Really cool tremolo effects box. Again, crazy flexible. Includes power supply. Behringer Hellbaby Wah - Switchless wah with loads of options
Can you add some prices to your list?
 7. Well i would settle for anything really as long as i didnt have to pay pounds for dollars
 8.
Yamaha BB604 Good condition, with a few minor scuffs to the paint (see the pics). Was my main bass for a few year - good variety of useable tones. Nice thin neck, and a low action.
You may wish to post the pics?
 9.
It can't be taught, only learned.
Listening and playing other peoples lines, styles and techniques will yield your own interpretatition and that in turn will be your feel of the played part.
 10.
Depends why you're doing it. If it's for the fame / money / girls / drugs / glory (delete as applicable) then yup, give it up. If it's because you enjoy doing it, then does it really matter if you play to 5 people, or 50, or 500? There are loads of musicians who'd love to have played the Grey Horse. Including me.
I echo the above, check the reasons why you play then make the decision

It was signed on the back by him but that has almost all faded off now I don't really use it, and it seems a pity not being used I am selling a few basses so sorry no trades you can call me 07957 596824
Are you selling the GB's............. ???
 18.
I've seen some players using a leather strap with a kind of swivel arrangement that means there's no twist between your shoulder and the strap button. Seems like a potentially good idea. I've never seen them for sale though. Anybody come across these (if you know what I'm talking about)?
I'm in the same boat and stumbled across these the other day. Anyone use them?? www.italiastraps.com

 22.
As stated above EBS TD650 amp and a EBS Proline 2X12" Cab for sale. Mint condition (never gigged). This sale is for a friend, who has recently picked up an endorsement deal, and is looking to sell on a few bits and bobs. (his words not mine) Would post pictures, but they are mint condition and dont look any different to any others that you can see online! If you still would like pictures i will arrange for that to happen. Dont think i need to put all the spec on here, as im guessing if your interested, youll know how good these are. Again though, i will send spec to anyone who needs it. Will not be able to sell seperately sorry. Looking for £1450
If you dont get any takers for the full rig, will your friend consider splitting the rig?
