2. Why not buy the bass that you are most comfortable with and feels good to you, If its the more expensive, at least you will be able to get on with it, rather than pot luck on a bass you struggle with for less of a price in the first place, and maybe may not even get the chance to play before buying??
You must all know about these, great tuner and as new. selling because i play mostly upright bass now and dont need the mute feature. as new, cant find the box though.. £45 plus postage..
So, what do you think the postage would be within the UK?

 6.
I have a TU-2 and I've just moved it to the end of my chain as it really messed with me EHX BassBalls when it was in front of it.
Thanks, and I've just been playing catch up on your previous feeds on this, and as i will only be using a tuner at this stage and no other effects, just straight into my EBS rig I think i should be fine. I was more worried about if there was a direct preference at the end of the day as to which tuner would be best, or is it a personal thing?

Both are chromatic pedal type tuners, and have a good range of functions for other alternate tunings. The DT10's built like the proverbial brick outhouse too.
Thanks for that!! Ive also found some other threads which are pretty interesting about the comparisons of signal loss etc.
 8. Hi all, I'm looking for a tuner which has a mute facility to tune in live situations so I am comparing something like the Boss TU2 and Korg DTR 100 or 200 rack versions. I've not really been a great fan of foot pedals but the TU2 appears to be a favourite amongst many players, but I also have available rack space for a tuner. I use both 5 string fretted and fretless Wal bases so I am assuming both tuners will be suitable. Anyone experience any issues with signal loss using either of these tuners when they are not in tuning mode, or noise or generally anything I should be aware of before I start getting the cash out??

I must admit I mis-read your name at first and thought you'd joined the wrong forum for a minute!
Well thanks for that......the welcome aboard bit anyway. Lets hope i dont get a reputation eh!!
 10. Hello, i just thought i would introduce myself from sunny Reading. Been playing bass for what seems like since they invented electricity and here i am still. I use EBS Bass amps and cabs and I play 5 string Wal bases, both fretted and fretless, which have not seen much action for a while, but nevertheless could tell a few stories of their times. So rather than just browsing as i normally do, now i can contribute a little with some gear for sale and maybe put the old basses in the porn section.
