Does anyone remember this place? I found out about it from an article in Bassist Magazine in the mid 90's. It was a specialist bass guitar shop, and one of its main draws for me was it's 'wall of Wals'. At the time, they were around £1500 - £2000 each (if my memory serves me well), and I went with the intention of getting one. However, one of the main guys at The Embassy suggested talking to a new local young bass builder who could make me a bespoke bass for the same price (enter one John Shuker). The rest is history, as I've now had three basses from him (still got two of them). One part of me wishes I'd still got a Wal, but at the prices they are commanding now, I wouldn't dare take it out on a Friday or Saturday night anymore!!!!!

Here's my Hayden Les Paul style bass. Got it from a place in Beverley in East Yorkshire before lockdown. Only cost about £230 brand new if I remember. Sounds great, and dont mind leaving it unattended at half time.......😉👍
