1. What's the weight and Where are you located? Beautiful bass!
2.
Did you take a look at the bass yourself or were you a previous owner? I'm tempted.
The previous owner!
3. What's the weight man? That's lovely!
4.
Lol - for almost my entire bass-playing career I've had a dislike of Jazz basses - probably and totally unfairly due to an early brush with a Columbus copy - but have recently been totally sold on them..... Many thanks for the good words, you have some fab basses there in your sig!
Thanks man! However I'm missing my MM Bongo which sold earlier. Bit gutted but it's gone to a good home for a good reason..
5. Nice comeback man anyway she's a beaut. Won't be here long! GLWTS
6. Can it leave into my hands? It'll match your old AB1 (which you could shed some light on for me!)
7. Hot dayum. Why you always tempting me with these Dingwall's man! Is this your main bass?
8. I'm notorious on here for my dislike of P's. But that is beautiful. I really like the unique touch to headstock too. GLWTS
9. Brief driveway meeting with Sean, sold my beloved Bongo bass to him. I'm happy knowing that it's gone to someone who will look after it. Would happily deal with Sean again. Nice chap.
10.
Anyway you dont want one of those....you want one of these...Killer tone I presume strung B-D? And the Ricky boys think they have the clank nailed? (see 5.15 or so)
Does sound good. He's such an underrated bassist too
11. If you ask me, she uses her boobs for attention to get her videos views. People are took in. In my opinion she's nothing great, just another female singer and guitarist, as good as the last.
12. Trade options update: 4001/4003 Rickenbacker -Fireglow Fender Deluxe Jazz- Butterscotch
13. Beautiful man. Almost made me consider selling my Fodera to fund this. GLWTS
14.
The S1 jazz was still only passive but it's a lovely player. For comparison of how much grain can show through in the same colour scheme here are my precisions;
Yup. Definitely a lot of variation. Give me a shout if your ever willing to part with the Jazz thanks for the help man
15.
Looks like butterscotch blonde to me, the jazz in my avatar is that colour but it has a rosewood board, its an S1 from 2003 ish. I have 2 other US Fenders in the same colour, an active precision deluxe (currently up for sale) and a precision 50th anniversary model with maple fretboard. The 'depth' of colour can vary a fair bit, the wood grain shows through more on my P deluxe than on the jazz for example. Heres a pic from when I first got it, now has one or two minor dings and sports a badass III bridge but pretty much the same;
That's extremely nice man. Bet it sounds sweet. It's what I'm missing really, I love my fender jazz, but it's a passive FSR, I'd like to get ahold of an active one to go with it
16.
It is http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/fender-american-deluxe-ash-jazz-bass
Sweet. At least I know now! Got to find someone willing to part with one! Thanks guys
17.
My case which came from a sale or swap on here has butterscotch jazz faintly written on it, surprise surprise it actually contained a Stingray, lol
Dang. I'm a sucker for a good Jazz. So that's deffo the colour ya think? So it's a Fender jazz butterscotch deluxe? *mouthful
18. I do live on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic though..
19.
Is there a prize!?
A sense of awesome accomplishment for helping a fellow bassist out, possible a coffee if in my neck of the woods..
