1. I wuold not give up contacting Visa and seeing if there's any way with which you can still stop or postpone the payment. Not strictly necessary to proceed unless you're forced to, but at least you're informed on the position you're in. Never had bad experiences with Thomann, but it's a big shop, you never know why/how things may simply turn bad one time.. if you understand that this time for whatever reason you're "left alone" you can always call the customer service, tell them that they're leaving you with no other option that blocking the payment and you want to talk with a Sales Manager or whatever. Of course put that clear in written emails also, if you need to go that far. my 2 cents... Luca
2. To me it shows 18mm from center string to center string between B and E, and seems like something less between D and G? Weight on my kitchen scale is 2,8 kg I'm 35 km (30-45 min by car) from Parma towards Piacenza, I live in Salsomaggiore Terme. Thanks, Luca
3. I know that shipping such a big head may be the deal brearker, but after all Ampeg ships it from US to everywhere to sell it, why should they be more lucky then me??
4. Very very interesting comparison. Thank you very much for taking the time to record this and moreover sharing it with us! Luca
5. Motivated to sell, if you're interested drop me a message and we can talk about it
6. I'm motivated to sell guys, if you're interested let's talk. Cheers Luca
7. Price or trade value reduced to 950£. Here for sale an all valve Ampeg SVT2 Pro made in USA. As far as I know they don't make them in USA any more, they moved the production to Asia, but honestly I don't know if this is true or not. Fact is that if you're after the tube sound this baby is the real thing. It sounds terrific and it's the joy of your bass: deep and warm as only valves can do, it gets fatter and punchier while the valves warm up during the gig (first time I used it alive I really couldn't believe it, seems like it is alive). I bought the head used here in Italy, used it live for two gigs and one rehearsal, and then the band stopped and since then I had no other chances to unleash the beast. As i wrote in the post for the Rob Allen, I'm trying to sell some of my best pieces as I'm trying to finance a new purchase as long as it is available, otherwise I wouldn't be selling this even if this would mean to use it once or twice a year. It is in perfect working order and in very good conditions, showing few signs of usage. I'm including the 4 units Proel rack that you can see in the pics. 300 Watts @ 4 ohm or 2 ohm Weights 70 pounds - 32 kg - without the rack (yes I know...) Here's the link to the website for any other technical aspect: http://www.ampeg.com...ts/pro/svt2pro/ I have no idea of the shipping costs, they're basically not included in the price but if you're interested let's talk. Prefer greatly to sell directly, but if you have offers feel free to let me know. Hope I did not forget anything, I'm here for any question. Here's some pics: ciao, Luca.
8. Price or trade value reduced to [s]1950£[/s] [s]2300 euro[/s] 2000 euro Hi guys, here up for sale is my beloved Rob Allen Mb2 5 strings, fretless, unlined. I'm after a dream bass and must find a way to collect the cash: tried to sell out one of the kidneys but seems like no one's interested so there's not much more to do for me.. This is basically a "standard" walnut 5 strings: walnut top with dark tortoise binding over ash body, birdseye maple neck 35" scale with fretless unlined macassar ebony fingerboard. Side dots where the fret would be. Volume pot incapsulated in the bridge, wooden knob. A tone control is accessible with a little screwdriver from a hole in the control cavity plate. Matrix piezo pu. Hipshot tuners. The bass is in really excellent conditions, would rate it 9.5 out of 10: I found only a small ding on the body thickness, where the right arm rests, nothing else: no discoloration of the top where the finger rests, or belt marks on the back. Fretboard as well is in great conditions, I always used the black labella [s]and guess also the previous owner did[/s] but slight shades of roundwound strings are there so for a limited period of time they have been used. This is nothing serious, the fretboard doesn't need any rectification or intervention whatsoever: I didn't notice the marks until I looked for them. I'm not the first owner, I don't have the original case or the certificates from Rob. I will ship in a lightweight rigid case, and prepare it carefully for shipment. I'm located in the north of Italy, if you were planning a quick weekend here just let me know and you may try it out as well! For the moment price does not include shipping, but I'm ready to negotiate, especially for cash. Not particularly interested in trades, unless it's something I can re-sell easily, but worst I can say is no thanks. For any other question just contact me thanks Luca EDIT: changes in the description
9. Would it be ok for you if I pay the bass 100 euro a month?
10. I would say 60s pu positioning, is that right? Thanks, Luca
11. Would you consider selling the extra cabinet separately? In the case what would be the price? thanks, Luca
12. Take a bump man, this bass is killing me every time I get on this post
13. Hey man, I was convinced that LEJ were easily going out new over 3000 euro. You say 1100 gpb. Am I mistaken on their current quotation or is there another explanation? Thanks! Luca
