1. A friend of mine has a Hartke VX350 4x10 bass combo he wishes to get rid of as it is gathering dust in his garage. It may need a bit of attention as he thinks one of the speakers has blown. Here is a picture of a similar amp. It is a big lump but is on casters to make moving it easier. Collection from mid Bedfordshire. Offers?
  2.
If this was a five I'd be sorely tempted. Did they do a 5 string version?
They did do a 5 string in the Pro-Active model (which I've just discovered mine is). Lovely basses they are too.
  3.
This bass is better built and feels nicer than any bass you'll find under a grand i reckon. Even my warwick i bought after selling this isn't as well constructed (sorry warwickhunt!) Big up for the neck too. Its very thin in depth with a flat back for your thumb meaning that it is super super fast to play. It is almost effortless for your left hand to play which made it a great bass to learn on.
All true folks. Surprisingly still available.
  4. Whilst I wasn't after trades I may consider taking a 4 stringer as part payment. Can also accept payment by Paypal if that helps.
  5.
+1.
Thanks for the positive comments guys.
  6.
MB1. Where are you based?
I'm in Bedfordshire and the bass can be collected from me there or in London.
  7. Looking at a change so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted a treat. This would make a supreb addition to any line up and has a wide range of tones available. This is a rare beast as it comes with the active pre-amp and two pickups as most were passive with a single soapbar. Usual Status build quality and in superb condition. Comes with a superb condition Hiscox hardcase. Looking for £350 . Would prefer collection or to meet for handover but will consider shipping at buyers cost.

    BASS BASH MARCH 2008

Unfortunately I'll be in Provence then so will not be able to make it. If I am sober enough after all the St Emillion I'll be drinking I'll think of you all. Hopefully I'll get to the Autumn one.
  9. I got one of these recently and they are excellent! Heavy, but excellent. If it wasn't the same finish as mine I'd have it.
  10.
Sold Pending The Usual.........
Thank god for that, my resistance was weakening.
  11. I may be interested when there are some up.
  12.
Even more so now I would think .. Not a single bid :-(
One bid but it didn't meet the reserve.
  13.
If only that MM was a 5 string. oh well!
If it were fretted I'd rip your arm off!
  14. Very interested in this but can you confirm a bit more information about the condition. Any dinks, fret wear or other issues?
  15.
Don't suppose you have any, or can record any sound clips? Cheers,
Sorry, don't have the know how or technology to do that. Just had a bit of a fiddle on it though my Bass Cube and it sounded awesome! Thankfully so does my Status.
  16.
Any interest in a partial trade for an Ibanez Soundgear 5 string?
Sorry not interested in trades. I have just brought a new LCD TV and this is paying some of the cost of that.
  17. She used to be mine and plays and sounds great!
  18.
Where are you based?
About 20 minutes from Milton Keynes in Flitwick, Mid Bedfordshire.
  19. Here we have a bubinga Warwick Corvette Standard (IT IS NOT A ROCKBASS!) up for grabs. It has EMG active jazz pickups and a BTC 2 band pre-amp. A few very light surface marks on the back but the front is unmarked. Very small amount of Warwick wax left. The neck is new as the original one twisted, it is mint as you would expect with zero fret wear. It is stamped by Warwick with the original 2001 serial number and the heal is stamped November 2007. Comes in a Warwick gigbag, new but not that padded! Here's a pic. I am after a very reasonable £350, plus shipping costs. Paypal, cheque (delivery on clearance) or cash on collection. Any trial welcome.
  20. It's a great bass but the new one needs funding so price reduced to £350. It's bargain time.
