Ive had the rebop 5er and euro 5er,both sounded good but the rebop didnt feel nice to play bad neck dive ,the euro felt better but chunky neck

I have a carvin xb75 ,best b string ive played,better than spector euro,rebop,sandberg tt,fender jazz,stingray .these are just a few ive had recently.all decent b strings but the xb75 is the best with a 35inch plus scale but feels comftable

I used my ibanez musician for 25 years,then yep i suddenly got gas and have had about 14 basses pass through my hands in just over a year Crazy times

Yeah its a little wider,not much though Fine for finger playing but a bit tricky when slapping

Ive just got a corvette standard 5er ( german) passive model,ive widened the spacing but not sure if i can go a bit further? Thanx

I already play 5 string and have a great carvin xb75p as my main bass,but just want a good back up 5er I aggree trying them is the best way but not much to try locally

I like the lakland 55 02 but out of my budget I used to have a 55 01 thought it wasnt bad but not great ,decent value though
