1.
The security guards in work will be pleased. As I only ever have my pass in my pocket.
I'm making you a special 'asschat' one The guards might be VERY pleased...
2. All good ideas. This summer I hope to add T shirts, stickers and lanyards. Problem is the £ at the moment, we're spending a fair bit over the next 3-6 months on site development. I think Lanyards will be next though as we have a supplier and design set up already. I've just had the artwork for the T shirts and planning a design competition for people here to submit designs for us to vote on. If we did this every few months we could end up with quite an exciting range. Cheers
3. I remember this came up a while ago and Ben had a look on the Invision forum. Lots of other people have requested the feature so I presume they are working on it for a future update. In fact, it may actually be included in the update we are missing out because we're waiting for the one after that which has additional security fixes from the recent issues. We've just hired a web developer to sort us out with some fixes so he will get round to this issue eventually... Cheers
4. I turn off all email apart from PMs. I'm here all the time anyway and set my homepage as the 'threads I follow' view so it's clear when someone posts in a thread I'm following. I think a fix is in order though and it's in the pipeline I think.
5. To be honest I had to use the donuts as spacers on the caravan axle to get it away from that horse who keeps on chewing the roof off
6. The production of the first album was really sweet. Drums sounded awesome. Dunno what happened to them. Ah well.

My collection!

I'm trying Rotosound Nexus strings on the Vigier, they look amazing and feel nice but quite different to the Elixirs I'm used to. Time will tell how they fare because a set of Elixirs stay bright for over a year for me which is nice. This is still very much my main bass and I can't see it ever losing top spot. I have recently had an addition to the stable which I'll show later. ped
10. Excellent, glad you had fun. This has put a smile on my otherwise perpetually frowny face today
11. EASY!!! P, J then Ray. Totally different to my ears. Each sounds very unique. {edit} I think they are SO recognisable that I tend not to use either bass very often, preferring to get my 'own sound' from my bass. Any way I try a J, P or MM they always sound like a J, P or MM. Don't get me wrong, all GREAT sounds, but why sound like everyone else!
12.
awesome sauce! Well done
lol
13.
Yes, here are some pics of my Zoid (the courtesy of the previous owner as I don't have own pics in my office computer)
Beautiful, love the ramp too. Feels like I can almost play it through the screen!
14. Hehe yeah a little bit.
15.

I HOPE my bloke has plugged his fecking monitor in, at the very least. It's taken us 5 months to get him up into a sitting position.
16.
Very nice bass! I keep my Zoid VM6 which (thanks God!) has not managed to sell when I had difficult period of life. Now another W&T bass is in the process, but not a Zoid, which is my favourite W&T shape (if not to say the only single cut shape I dig)! Congrats!
Got any pics? I find the body really comfortable. I love the headstock too.
17. Just a quick update - I haven't forgotten about this section! It should be ready in the next few days. The blog has been built, I have the first article and first writers lined up and my IT person is drinking lots of Pepsi and eating lots of Donuts whilst matching style sheets and the like. Look out for it soon! ped
18. Hi mate nice to see you Lovely bass. I was blown away with the 'demo' bass I played a couple of years ago. It positively fizzed with sparkle (what?!) Enjoy and let us know how you get on with it ped
19. Ah, well I'm glad for you, but I'm kind of on the lookout again now! Hope the new owner enjoys such an incredible device! Cheers
20.
Hi Nemo, Can't help you with your enquiry, but could be a good idea posting it on Onlybass the French bass forum(?). I've always found it to be a Friendly forum....
Yeah Onlybass is a cool place! http://forum.onlybass.com/
21. I'm endorsed (or I endorse?) Vigier. There's no contract but basically I spoke to them when I got my first Vigier and we had some interesting chats about their basses and forthcoming designs. I bought two more vigiers (though privately) and see the 'endorsement' as a mutural respect.. I could get a discount on a new bass, but frankly I am never going to replace my 1988 bass with anything so it's fairly redundant. I guess it's nice to be able to say, but in reality it doesn't mean anything. Perhaps if I went on tour then they would be helpful but I can't see that happening, can you?
22.
Hi ped, Yes, i thought about de-fretting in the beginning. For 2 mains reasons i prefer looking for a "real" fretless : First, it is expensive and i already spent a lot for this beautiful monster. Secondly, this bass is designed for fretted sound (maple, Wengé) and slapping (broadneck). I don't want to alterate such a piece of work. The first time he saw this Streamer, my luthier said : " What a instrument, they are really well designed and built." Now i look a 6er fretless, i need to find the right tool. I don't have to ask this Maple/ Wengé Stage I to be the fretless (Alder or Azfelia or Bubinga ../ Ebony fingerboard) that i wish. Am i wrong ?
No, that all makes perfect sense. It could be very expensive to have it done properly. Good luck with the sale ped
23. I wondered if you had thought about de-fretting the Warwick?
24. Anyway, this is going nowhere and getting personal. Go outside and get some fresh air.
