3. Hello all! Here's my entry for this month - https://soundcloud.com/rikki-boyes/mountains I'm afraid I sing in this one. As always - I apologise!
4.
Ibanez SR series!
This.
5. Another vote for the Chord OC50 from me!
6. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/288209-pedal-train-nano-effects/page__pid__3090021#entry3090021 There's a Markbass Octave pedal for sale here - I've not played through one myself but they have a reputation as an excellent Boss OC2 clone.
7. I sold this bass to the OP and I can confirm he's a decent chap and that the bass is excellent - I only got sold it because I didn't need 6 strings. GLWTS
8.
If you want a fast, thin neck, have you thought about one of the modern Ibanez basses? They are extremely well priced, high spec, and well manufactured from what I've heard. I wouldn't personally bother with a fanned fret 4 string...5 sting maybe....(again see Ibanez).
Yeah, I'd agree with all of that.
9.
Another modest vote for Reaper. It costs nothing to try it out, alongside others, and compare. If it's not chosen, just un-install, no loss. If it wins out, it's not at all expensive. It must be worth at least looking into, no..?
I concur.
10. Bought a pedal off Dan. All went smoothly and the pedal arrived promptly and well packaged.
11. Great band - am really enjoying their set!
12. Another vote for the Aftershock here - I've got a Source Audio OFD and it's fantastic.
13.
Well here's my entry for this month - https://soundcloud.com/rikki-boyes/junkyard-funk I knew I wasn't going to have much time this month to come up with something (still setting up in my new job) so I decided to set myself the challenge to limit myself to one evening to compose and record this months entry and this was what resulted. It's kind of sloppy/thrown together and the ending is a bit rushed but I did enjoy making it, at least! I wish I could spend more time polishing it, but it is what it is! I apologise for the all the inadequacies! :-)
I've slightly reedited my entry. I've also added a vocoded vocal part. I'm not sure if it actually works but I thought it needed something to give it a focus.
14. I bough a pedal off Kev - all went smoothly. Recommended seller.

17. I had a Chord OC50 octave pedal. I really liked it, but sold it in the end when I got a Boss OC2. The Chord tracked as well as the Boss and was slightly more aggressive in tone.
18.
Eek! My one and only vote has been stolen! It's a fix I tell ya!
You've got your vote back!☺
19. That's very odd - i voted for you. All my votes have gone - I don't know how, I haven't been in this thread for ages. I'll revote now!
20.
If Billy Sheehan or the bass player from Royal Blood recorded a noodle using their biamped live rigs which run two separate sounds originating from a single instrument, would that count as having two tracks?
Yeah I wouldn't consider that 2 tracks at all.
21.
I really liked the way everybody took inspiration from the picture and chose different world viewpoints. They were all pretty dystopian though! That says to me that it was a very good choice of picture Rikki.
I'm glad you liked the picture! I just voted - some really good stuff here, it was hard to narrow it down to 3.
