9.
No problem mate! Just an idle fancy, you have got my interest though, i love my Ebs but its quite big and i fancy a two channel amp so i dont have to use the EBS microbass, to swap between electric and EUB and a friend of mine told me very good things about the epifani. Just to clarify does this head only run at 4 ohms or can you use it at 8 ohms if needed. Got to have a think on this, all the best- lee
It runs at a 4ohm minimum load.
 10. No thanks Lee, I need the cash, but thanks for the offer. Steve

 12. Hi, Birmingham based professional bass player available for short-notice dep gigs of all kinds. Paid work only please. I'll learn your music quickly, efficiently and be a pleasure to work with and an asset to your gig. Please get in touch if I can be of any assistance. Steve
 13. Hello, I am an experienced bass teacher living and working in Birmingham and have been a professional touring and recording musician for the last ten years. I concentrate on teaching the fundamentals of music and the essentials of bass playing. You don't need fancy techniques in order to play well and get good gigs... you need a solid foundation: Good time feel, a developed sense of musical hearing, understanding of your options which will enable you to make good choices regarding notes, rhythms and phrasing (which comes from analysis of musical styles and the music of other bass players and other instrumentalists). Understanding the basics of harmony is actually not as hard as you might think. The hard part is committing to a routine of personal practise outside the music lesson to get the concepts in your mind and under your fingers. Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for a number of years, I can help you to develop as a player. My experience as a working musician means I understand what is required on the gig, beyond the mechanics of notes and technique. I currently teach all age groups, from children of 8 years old to adults. I offer regular weekly lessons or a less regular schedule depending on your commitments. I am based in the Bearwood area of Birmingham (B67 5BG). Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements. Best regards, Steve *Check out my new website http://steveamadeo.com/Lessons.html for contact details and more info* *Check out http://www.ianparkermusic.com for info on the artist I currently play for*
 14.
well, i loved my old bass tutor. he looked like Tobey Maguire, wore odd socks and had a selection of teas. i learn pretty quick, and felt lessons were going way too slowly for me, so i stopped having them. which is now frustrating me even more. so, i'm looking for someone with a wide range of tastes, skills, and styles who will work well with my whimsical nature and push me forward. i'm available most days and evenings, and am looking for someone who is flexible enough for a lesson to be at different times each week. and probably someone who will call me to make me book a lesson, as i tend to forget that bit. i'm a good student and i promise to make you proud! x
Hi, Have you heard of Pete Laffan in Bradford? A great player and teacher... I don't have contact details and his place might be a bit of a trek from yours (I used to go to him for lessons for a while when I lived in Silsden nr Keighley... I think he lived in the Queensbury area of Bradford... back then). He's a bit of a local legend as a teacher and player... I'm sure you can hunt his details down through local music shops. The shops in Bradford will definitely have his details. All the best, Steve
