1. Traded basses with Andy in a hassle free deal. Excellent communication and an absolute Gentleman and a Scholar! Thanks
2.
Rickenbacker 4001 - poorly made, poorly finished, uncomfortable to play & just incredibly disappointing when it was my dream bass. I also had had a vintage 4001 with checkerboard binding & horseshoe & toaster pickups which was a f***ing dog too. Jaydee Supernatural Custom - neck was so unstable I spent more time adjusting it than playing it. Musicman Stingray 5 - an unbelievably unstable neck & it just exuded an overall feeling of mass produced mediocrity.
Man... you must have high standards! Haha.
3. That is a nice price, pity I'm stuck up in sunny Aberdeenshire! Good luck with the sale

11. Hi, Nick. I'm afraid I've just traded the DiMarzio, sorry dude. Thanks

13. Right, I have this beautiful bass that I picked up recently for sale or trade. The bass is in great condition, great fit and finish and great tone. Unfortunately I just can't get on with the length. Low action and newly strung with Fender flats. Really not keen on posting this as it's semi hollow and I don't have a hard case but may be swayed if there is any firm offers. Based in Aberdeen/Shire. Will listen to any bass trade offers... Cheers!
14. Hi, Nick. Sorry, I just saw this post. Don't suppose you have any soundbytes do you? I believe that there is a few different EMG P Bass pickup models so I'm not sure which video on Youtube would be the closest to your EMG. Cheers
15. Bought some strings off of Lee which were delivered very quickly. Excellent communication. Cheers
16. I fancy swapping out my Model P for something different, not really sure what I want so any trades are considered. The DiMarzio pickup (same as below) is in excellent condition, anybody fancy a trade? http://www.dimarzio....imarzio-model-p Cheers Brian
17. Bought a pair of Jazz pickups off of John which were delivered very quickly. You can buy with confidence from John. Cheers
18. Thanks for the reply. Yes, swapping the pickups round solved the volume issue, cheers for that. I'm not sure how to wire this up properly so that there is an even sweep throughout the 2 volume and 1 tone controls. As it is there is a sudden surge of volume in the last 8th of a turn rather than it increasing smoothly throughout the whole turn of the knobs. Cheers I have it wired up as 'Jazz Bass' wiring which must be causing this problem. As you can see, I'm a begineer with this sort of stuff but I enjoy it though!
19. I'll try that tonight, Geoff. Thanks. I've PM'd Henry Norton, thanks for bringing it to my attention redstriper! Thanks all
