2. Hi, Nick. Sorry, I just saw this post. Don't suppose you have any soundbytes do you? I believe that there is a few different EMG P Bass pickup models so I'm not sure which video on Youtube would be the closest to your EMG. Cheers
3. Bought some strings off of Lee which were delivered very quickly. Excellent communication. Cheers
4. I fancy swapping out my Model P for something different, not really sure what I want so any trades are considered. The DiMarzio pickup (same as below) is in excellent condition, anybody fancy a trade? http://www.dimarzio....imarzio-model-p Cheers Brian
5. Bought a pair of Jazz pickups off of John which were delivered very quickly. You can buy with confidence from John. Cheers
6. Thanks for the reply. Yes, swapping the pickups round solved the volume issue, cheers for that. I'm not sure how to wire this up properly so that there is an even sweep throughout the 2 volume and 1 tone controls. As it is there is a sudden surge of volume in the last 8th of a turn rather than it increasing smoothly throughout the whole turn of the knobs. Cheers I have it wired up as 'Jazz Bass' wiring which must be causing this problem. As you can see, I'm a begineer with this sort of stuff but I enjoy it though!
7. I'll try that tonight, Geoff. Thanks. I've PM'd Henry Norton, thanks for bringing it to my attention redstriper! Thanks all
8. Cheers for the video, Tommo. I installed the Artec humbucker in the bridge position last night and wired the bass up for V.V.T and I quite like the tones but there is a fair bit of discrepancy in volume between the 2 humbuckers, I've raised and lowered the magnets accordingly but still the bridge humbucker's volume is still pretty weak. There's a problem with the tone control as well because when I turn it right down, it cuts the volume. Anyone any ideas? Thanks GH
9. Sorry, can a mod move this to 'Repairs and Technical' please. Thanks!
10. Right. I've acquired an Epiphone EB-0 on the cheap that I was planning on modding. I've bought one of these cheap Sidewinder buckers with the thinking of sticking one in as a bridge pickup. Does anyone have experience with this mod or even have an idea of how it would sound? http://www.ebay.co.u...e-/151094160241 I was thinking of wiring it V.V.T. or maybe throwing in a 3 way switch for neck, both and bridge. Any help with wiring would be greatly appreciated. Cheers GH

There is a fair bit of fret wear and lacquer damage to the headstock. The previous owner installed a new bridge and control plate. The story goes that in the 80's an Australian business man loved his American Fenders so much that he decided to commission a Japanese guitar factory to build replicas of his favourite guitars. This is a replica of an American '52 Telecaster. If you look at the pictures you'll see that the headstock veneer is cracked and the paint at the top of the fingerboard is also cracked. This is cosmetic only and does not affect the playability nor weaken the structure in any way, shape or form. The price reflects this. 16. £25 delivered for a fretless Squier Jazz neck, absolute steal! Quick delivery and excellent communication. A pleasure to deal with, cheers.
17. Just something different from a Precision really. A Jazz stylee preferably.
18. Cheers for the kind words, Rich. I don't mind putting some cash on top of the Westfield towards a bass trade...
