so glad i took the gamble on a cavebear! (NON Human Audio) oh boy! such a great sounding pedal! and the most simple distortion/fuzz on my board!! also got to try out a new addition to the rig my Peavey mk3 400 series! ( due to my gk crapping itself!!! ) that into a 215 is just lovely! -

Rm500 is a great choice, id also throw Aguilar th500. -
so after some amp issues! last night i was always meant to be trying this amp ended up a little sooner than i thought! super impressed and thru my peavey 215 sounded huge! i did plug in to the power amp in but with out a master volume safe to say it was loud! seriously am def on the hunt for another! ideally one that will do 2 ohms

you can make a good synth sound by layering chorus, octave down and a filter but it will use your whole unit to make the sound of boss

Much smaller unit and I reckon using the effects you could get a cool synth sound going in the core, it’s just quicker in the Sy

added a signal blender to blend my di outputs into the output of the bass rig so I can monitor them thru my cab at practice -
Your pedals will only take what it needs, so if it needs 30ma it will only draw that much, it could be plugged into a 1000ma supply wouldn’t matter.

lived with this for a while now it really does sounds great! also used it live a few times and again just such a nice conveniant way to send to FOH and as a heavy user of distortion i hate the fizzy nature to most di even from my GK 2001rb this gives me the mic tone, am def grabbing the other version just incase i prefer it more.
-
hey man this is really similar to what i do, i run the vintage into the effects return of my gk 2001rb, the 810 ir is only on the di out, the lpf and hpf ar on the jack out so you can make things more even between the di and the cab sound.

upgraded my di as I’ve added the sy200 back in on its own out to foh also added the heavy bat, from drunk beaver which is basically all the rats you can want!! -
yeh i love big box fuzz aswell! but had to choose having heating in my house lol!
-
oooo is that a sledgehammer and namad in the same box? im hopefully grabbing a brassneck soon!
-
the fact of no loop and not trigger input, its a shame as price wise its on par with units that have both, not sure why you would get this for £200 over the ns-2 or the tc this also looks a bit silly up against the Zuul, they have basically put the gate from the bigger form pedals in a pedal..............shame from the teaser was expecting something more than a noise gate Andy
