1. best £400 iv ever spent, sound, look and feel are top marks. People who know me know iv had some class basses, but i really struggle to find much diffeance in this to basses costing 3 times the amount. Dont know if im just lucky, but this also has the nicest spalted maple top too. Very pleased. 2. this should work now? http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=733910495 Ok a question. I downloaded the vidio on you tube, but it has gone on its side. Does anyone know how to turn it back upright? Thanks Rich.

Iv had 6ers costing double but the quality fit n finish and sound is pretty awesome. This has now become my bass of choice. The vidio was shot at a jam session, we guested so very candid. I just love playing those Jerry Scheff bass lines. Here its just plugged direct into an ashdown bass amp. Rich.
try this? then click on the vid. 14. Photos now added of this stunning bass :-)
 15. Exellent condition with psu, no box or instuctuctions, but that can be veiwed and downloaded from their site. £125 posted. New they are £250.
 16. Fantastic bass in very good condition. A few very minor dings, but it is a 10-15 year old bass. The bass is aged white with a beutiful maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It has fitted as standard a J retro circuit with passive bypass and slap pull knob, tort plate and chrome P/U cover. I think this bass has the seymore duncan pickups on it. Anyways its all original, and plays and sounds just supurb. 35inch scale. MAtching white head stock. Comes with warick padded gig bag. Only testing the water on this at the moment, because to be honest, not sure what can replace this bass, but just fancy something a little different. Couple of soundclips on my FB page, (sir duke and a live clip that was a little outa tune!) but to be fair, its not the best sound as was done with a small digital camera. This bass has a real presance about it when its on the stand at a gig. Its like a real proper bass! May be interested in trades, but only 5 strings please, and no sunburst finishes. My FB is [email protected] Looking for £1100 via cash pickup or bank transfer, and then £15 for post, but i would prefer for someone to collect this bass and try it first. Its awesome. The bass is advertised elsewhere as well.

 18.
I love my Steinberger XQ5 v2. Previous owner sold it because his bandmates thought a headless bass was not fitting the image of the alt-rock band he plays with. Imagewise I'm pretty sure that Steinberger has never been used in metal but can fit almos every other music genre.
I did have the cheaper steinberg once. It sounded huge for its size but for me reaching the low f and that area on a strap really hurt my left shoulder blade, made it very tired, so sold it on ebay.
 19.
Pictures?
They are sealed in the box. May dig them out of it and take pics tomorrow though.
 20.
Thanks for your thoughts, but I'm not at all confused about there being no offers, as it's a very niche instrument, and will appeal only to a small percentage of players. I did receive a fairly respectable offer the last time I posted, but I decided to turn it down. What I had expected was a bit more reaction, comment and conversation about the nature of the beast itself, where it came from, even what it cost me. It's an unusual thing, after all. The first figure I put it up for was, you could say, speculative. Being as rare as it is, I had thought that perhaps the very fact one of these had turned up for sale would spark some serious interest, even if it was only within a small group of enthusiasts, who I know exist. The price was based on what I feel it's worth to me, although that's not to say I wouldn't consider a lower offer, but unless it was a figure I was completely happy with, I will simply keep the bass, and perhaps offer it for sale in a year or two when the economic situation improves. Thanks for your interest - y'see... this is what I meant! :-)
OK. Where did you get it then? and how much for? how many have been made? I had a stunning spector redwood that was 4k only 24 ever made. Was a nightmare to sell.
 21. Deal going down tomorrow on this stunner.
 22. Humpty bumpty all PM's replied to. This may be gone soon!
